AMU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students become eligible for placements in 7th semester. Companies like Samsung, Juniper Networks, Seimens, Shneider Electric, EIL, Zia Semiconducter, L and T and various startups visit the college for placements. The highest package is around 18 to 19 lacks and is mostly offered by companies like Marvell, EIL . Average package is around 3 to 6 lacks which is offered by Seimens, Zia Semiconductor, L and T and various startups. Nearly 30 to 40 percent students get placement as many students here are interested in higher studies like Masters or Phd. After the degree, I will see what suits me and my career and according to it I will take the actions.

From final semester students become eligible for campus placements I don't know the ne of companies who visited because I don't apply for any placement yet. The engineering faculty and foreign language faculty get highest package as it differs from 4_5 lacks to above 20 The percentage is medium After degree i have a plan for upsc

On campus placements are meagre. But off campus placements are fantastic. Year by year placements are improving. I've planned to pursue master in my field after completing btech. As of now , I don't have much info about placement

In diploma many of students from my college went to L and T, Asian paints, etc around 30 to 40 percent of students are given placement each year with rest of students getting off campus placements of getting in government jobs. I chose this course beacuse if my interest in chemistry.. Faculty ratio is absolutely amazing with more than adequate teachers in our department aiming at improving students learning and coordination among them. All the teachers are from highly reputed central universities like IIT and other institutions. Teaching methods include instructions by the teachers in PowerPoint projector. There are two terms sessionals and one final examination taken by the teachers. And it was moderate to pass the exams.

I want to be a mechanical Engineer so i choose my stream as mechanical engineering. I campus is fully separate for boys and girls. I entrance exam that are mandatory for the addmission is as difficult as J.E Mains

ALIGARH MUSLIM University provides placement for students of all classes starting from bachelors to PhD . It's average package is about 300000 per year. Many companies from foreign also visited there.

I chose b.tech because I want to become a software engineer. Student ratio is just like any other giod engineering college. There is less girls as compared to boys. Faculty is very good, almost all are phd holders. Exams were not as tough, but not easy as well. Se have exams almost every 1.5 month.
