AMU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I like electrical engineering because in childhood I used to wonder how this motor works and how different types of electrical components work. The teachers in the department are very helpful and are highly qualified. The exams are taken after every one month in each semester.

After the end of 3rd year we are ready to sit for campus placement. Several companies visit us and offer various job profiles. Majority of the student get placed and many go for higher studies from abroad. I want to start my own IT company.

Usually in the final year, placements take place. The placement isn't very good in AMU. Maybe 1-2 students get placements in big companies like the microsoft. The package could range from 6lac-12lac per annum. Probably 10-25 percent students get the placement. Many of them prepare for GATE. I too will do the same.

Placements in AMU are offered by the Training and Placement Cell of AMU and not by the department. SCC online, Byjus, Amazon, Embibe, TNQ are some of the companies who have hired students from law faculty. Average initial package is approx 4-5 LPA. I am planning to do LLM after BALLB from the same university.

From 5th semester student become eligible for campus placements but in starting you will only get interships not a parmenent job, paytm , amazon, etc made offers like 1 cr per annum.highest package is 1.06cr per annum and lowest is 4.5 lacs per annum . Around 80-90% students gets placed. My plan is to rum my faters business

For electrical engineering, a strong curriculum should cover core principles like circuits, electronics, and electromagnetics. Look for faculty with advanced degrees, industry experience, and a record of research in electrical engineering. A favorable faculty-to-student ratio, perhaps around 1:15, ensures better interaction. Check faculty qualifications through academic credentials and industry involvement. Look for reviews on teaching methods, emphasizing hands-on projects and real-world applications. Evaluate the exam schedule for timely assessments, and consider student feedback on exam difficulty. A balanced approach ensures a challenging yet manageable learning experience.

Students of the final year are eligible for campus placements. Well known companies visit our campus for placement purposes like Wipro, Amazon, Havells, etc. All the placement opportunities are provided by TPO of AMU to the students. Around 70% students get placements from the campus every year. My plan after pursuing bsc is to get admission in MSC and then PhD as I want to become a Professor.

English department in AMU is one of the oldest in India and composs best scholors in the displine. Students must be self displined to have bwttwer grades after the exams. The exams are not that tdifficult to crack, but getting better grades requires time and persevarance,

I choose this course for my dream because I want to become an ias and my course is Bsc(geography) which will very helpful for me in future tooo becoming an ias officer. My faculty is very good. Teaching method of fculty is too excellent. The term exam is very hard

Chemistry is a cool subject, It opens up a variety of career opportunities. Graduates can find employment in industries such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, environmental science, food and beverages and so on. Huge scope in scientific researches or developing new drugs or textiles making dyes etc. Faculty consists of 2 teachers for each subject , so around 8 teachers for 4 subjects Organic, Inorganic, Physical and Analytical chem. students are 60 per section Highly Qualified teachers many of them are from renowned IITs and also many are from AMU itself all are PhD scholars as well term exams are simple no need to worry they usually take 1 or 2 units and there are only 4 units per semester, so not a big deal you can study 1 night before exam and still score great marks
