I have studied Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology. If someone is interested in Archaeology then BHU is the place. The archaeology department here is one of the top most departments in India.

Course is very much corresponding with the syllabus of UPSC optionals but if you are trying to make something for yourself in academics you need to go beyond the limit of syllabus in university because it has not been updated for long time

Faculty of each department is very much tallented and includes best tallents of the nation. Extra curricular activities are also performed on regular basis. Like ncc and inter department cricket competition.

LLB course is very beneficial and very earning especially if you are a second generation student.For a first generation for first few years it is somewhat struggling if you want to do litigation.. The course really prepares you well for real life and also it gives you some power to you . Some improvements that can be done in my course in my university is that the subject that is taught in a semester is quite vast in one and quite small in another.Teaching method is quite good . There is mid semester after every two months in a semester and after every five moths there is a semester .

My hons is Home science, so talking about it actually it includes practicals We generally get to know about things related to it ..recently we went for field work there we got the opportunity to interact with the villagers, telling them about nutritional values. Everything is good, they provide us with notes, and proper guidance.

The curriculum is somewhat outdated, most of what is taught is from old textbooks and old ppts by the faculty and it leads to outdated information. The curriculum encompasses all the topics one needs to study in agriculture but it lacks modern topics like biotechnology The newer topics should be added in depth and the older ones phased out because the older topics are not relevant in todays time

The university has high placement cells fir basically IIT BHU but other faculties also have a placement rate but comparatively low than the IIT and MBA cells. The major recruiters are: Infosys , federal bank, wipro,IDBI bank and some if the internship partners are RBI,SBI,UNION BANK OF INDIA and others. The placements are given after 2 years of graduation. The highest package of MBA stood at 38lpa while the average was 11.3lpa. Talking about my course BA we have an average placement package of 8lpa. The top recruiters include croma, genpact, KPMG,SBI life etc.

Industry Relevance: The curriculum, for a student who wishes to apply after the M.Sc., has equipped him with lots of analytic, problem-solving, and computational skills. More exposure related to these applications such as materials science, renewable energy, or quantum computing will make the alignment of the curriculum even closer with the immediate job market demands now. The curriculum was designed beautiful. As first two year three core paper and one language paper...and in the last year among those three core paper you have to choose one paper as your honours. Therefore, they design furst two year as introductory course in all the core paper just to introduce you to the paper. But in the last year they cover the wide range of tooic in the specific subject. They cover all most all thr dimension of the subject. The always keep mind of contemporary literature wich one can opt as elective paper as naming New literature.

I am passionate writer so I choose BA German hons I wants to explore vast world of language and literature They have proper clubs and teaching methodology and some personality enhancement course which will definitely make me for future They don't have to work on more areas but they should focus on placement cell for individual courses Exam is not that difficult if study daily and did homeworks
