MNNIT Allahabad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I have Chosen BTech in Chemical Engineering. Chemical engineering allows students to get a well respected jobs in the field of oil refinery,food industries, petro chemical industries, Pharma industries and many more. It also encourage you to pursue research in this field. PSUs hire chemical engineers. In the curriculum the core chemical engineering subjects like Heat Transfer Operation Fluid Particle operation Chemical reaction engineering chemical process principle process dynamics and control plant design Environmental pollution impact and control are taught. The curriculum is decent enough to prepare a student for industrial job . But the practical implementation is very less . Most of the equipments are not in working condition. More industrial visit for the students should be conducted for more encouragement in the students. Each semester(Total 8)has mid sem and end sem exam along with practical exam.Difficulty of the exam vary near medium range.First year has common subject

Placements are very good. Average package of BTech is 15lpa+. Almost all big company come for hiring like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. Highest package is 87lpa. 60%+ are placed till now. I will be sitting in placement session after getting my degree.

Tech placements are good for branches like cs, ece, ee but for the branches below lesser number of tech companies allow for placements. The placements season starts in the summers after the completion of 6th semester and whole year different companies come. Offers are made by companies like Amazon, google, atlassian, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft and many big companies. Also PSUs visit the campus for core branches like mech, civil etc.

-> From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements -> In my college generally 2-3 hundred companies visited during placements -> Highest packege of my branch(c.s.e) 1.4 crore ctc for softwere role, average packege for c.s.e is around 30-35 lpa -> from last 10 years 96-97% students got placed -> I can have job after the degree.

I got cse department by jee exam On YouTube I see that placement is very good in the college and in 2022 the college placement is sooo good at that time average cse package is 27lpa And 2023 batch gat also good placement but now in 2024 placement season placement is not good at the time Faculty is very good in cse department

For internship during 1st semester. For final placement - either PPO during internship or during the final semester. Major companies like TATA, ACCENTURE, HDFC, AXIS, SBI, KENT, EY, FLIPKART, ICICI, RELIANCE CEMENT and more. Highest package was offered at 15 lacs and average is around 10 lacs. 100% placement is offered by the department. My plan is to deliver my best learnings that I have gained here at SMS to the companies growth.

The Placement Cell organizes various activities throughout the academic year to prepare students for the recruitment process, including workshops, mock interviews, resume building sessions. The companies that visit our college are- Microsost, apple, zomato, cisco, de shaw, wells fargo, goldman sachs etc.

Our college placement sounds great . In previous years it was one of the top engineering college in terms of placement and have a average package of 27 lakhs per annum with placement percentage of 94.2% . More than 250 companies visited our campus every year to hire student from our college , all the big tech giants like microsoft , google and psus like GAIL, BPCL,HPCL visits our campus.

Spacious Campus: MNNIT Allahabad has a sprawling green campus with well-maintained buildings, providing a pleasant and refreshing environment for students. Facilities: The institute offers good facilities like well-equipped libraries, computer centers, laboratories, sports grounds, and a central cafeteria. Students become eligible for campus placements in the 7th semester in which students sit for placements. Almost every companies such as Google,Microsoft , Nvidia etc. visit our college and total No of offers made at the last year is almost 864. Highest package offered by company is UBER and it provides package of near around 86 lakhs. Average package of the overall college is 10 lakhs and the profiles offered are Full Stack Developer, AI/ ML Engineer. Percentage of students getting placements vary from branch to branch . For computer Science it is almost 98% ,for ECE 95%,for electrical 92% and for Mechanical 86% , for Civil 72% , for Chemical 78%. My plans is to seek the placement in a good company
