Faculty : faculties of this college are well educated and have a good knowledge about their subject and branch . teachers are very helpful and they help in making projects very friendly.
The college also provides merit and need scholarship to the students and the placement of this college have been the best since its inception
Culrav is the annual college fest which is celebrated in the month of march with great joy and enthusiasm.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is too poor of this college, even the sports fascilities are really worst.
No but admission process is tough and a littel mistake can creat a big mistake.
The things which i didn't liked about this college are those which do not make any big difference to someone's career.

THE REAL MNNIT

Likes

Greenery inside college is very beautiful to see.
College is very close to the Curzon bridge where we go to see the beautiful sunset.
Hostels room are very nice to live in there.

Dislikes

Girls end time is 10 pm that I find to very sexist.
There is nowhere inside college where you can non veg.
College authorities are very strict with regard to any wrong doings

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are great in an NIT. Mnnit has the second best placement scenario in India after nit suratkal. Even if you fail in campus placements you will do better than more than 90% of the graduates that year.

Likes

The hostels are nice and the campus is quite good
The teachets are well qualified and ready to help
Overall campus life is very good and enjoyable.

Dislikes

The academics are a bit outdated and not suiting industries today
Sports are a bit underrated except the athletics club
Academics is prioritized rather than overall development

Placement Experience:

The placements are very good of our college. Due to recession the packages have dropped this year. The highest package of mechanical was around 19 lakhs and average is 11lakh something. Quite good as compared to other NITs

Likes

A lot of diverse peoples from different parts of india take admission in my college that allows me to interact with them and know about their lifestyle,language and culture that enhances my social interactions and communication skills also.
unnecessarily many minors and majors exam are not conducted in my college only mid and end sem exam are conducted each semester
Placements are very decent and nice as it is the top nit in north

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not very good but it is tolerable
There is not relative grading in all courses
Assignments should be checked and it should be ensured that the students has not copied it from any kind of source

Placement Experience:

placements of my college is very nice.the median package of computer science and engineering is approx 27 lakhs per annum with overall average package of 16 lakhs per annum. many reputed companies visit our campus for recruitment .

MNNIT provides you an absolute environment for character development .
It provides an excellent coding culture which helps you in getting jobs
academically , it aims to make a student a good engineer

Dislikes

less campus size on boys side approximately 1/4th of campus is only for boys
no swimming pool , every college should have one.
no instruments in music room of my college or broken ones

Placement Experience:

placements are quite fanatastic many companies visited and offered good amout amazon google miscrosoft oracle dee shaw and many more our average package was approx 2600000 for cse and approx 17-18 lakh for btech my plan is to stay in job for approx 5 year after the degree

Likes

Placement : NIT Allahabad is known for its placement .the avg package for BTech students is around 16 LPA , and for CSE it is about 26 LPA , and percentage placement is also better than many new IITs and most of the NITs .
Faculty : faculties of this college are well educated and have a good knowledge about their subject and branch . Teachers are very helpful and they help in making projects very friendly.
Hostels : Hostels of this college are also good they have good infrastructure and have good space for the students . Hostel for final year boys is one of the best building in the college

Dislikes

Campus life : Campus life of the college is not too good as expected from the colleges of national importance boys are not allowed to visit whole campus
Infrastructure : As this college is old so its infrastructure is as good as many new NITs and IITs it has old infrastructure .
College life : college life is also not so good as here students have high pressure of exams and other academic things like lab and assignment .

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is better than most of the NITs and many new IITs. It has a good average placement. The average package for overall BTech students is about 16 LPA, for CSE it is about 26 LPA. The percentage placement of BTech students is approximately 75 % this year. Many companies visit to the college for placement like Google, Amazon, Facebook, Reliance, Samsung, and DRDO. My plans after getting the degree from this college is to get a good placement and give my 100 % for my company.

One of the best NIT In India, MNNIT Allahabad

I loved my MNNIT Allahabad.The Professors were very Humble, knowledgeable, and the campus was vibrant with lots of activities including many club. The labs and library were well-equipped. Social life was amazing, with friendly senior andmany events.
At MNNIT Allahabad,Placement is strong with good support of our Tpo, they work very hard so that each and everybody is Placed.In our college many big company like Google,Apple,Microsoft and consultancy firms like Accenture, core companylike Mahindra

Dislikes

The only thing which i Dislike about is the Poor Infrastructure for 2nd year only because after that you shift to Malviya which is new hostel and also 1st year hostel SVBH is also very good so Patel hostel need to improve
One thing also is the restriction of girls timing in Hostel is 10 p.m, which is very bad in our college.

Placement Experience:

Our campus placements were amazing. Many companies came to our college, including Core companies like Mahindra Bajaj And Software companies like Google, Microsoft and many more Alos, including very good consultancy companies like Accenture

At mnnit allahabd the things i liked most are their library seatings in normal days library opens from 9 am to 9 pm and in exam days it is 9 am to 12 pm

Dislikes

I mostly used disliked their assignment system which is given every week
Anoither thing is their 75% criteria which is useless

Placement Experience:

placemnts are very good at mnnit allahabd in our mca their is almota 80 to 85 % students placed every year but their is also politics done by tpo(training and placements officers) because their friends clear the online tests with cheatings

I like the discipline of the college and the rules regulation of the college
Good hostel facilities and mess food facilities
Good the teaching quality of the professors and the good lab facilities

Dislikes

Curriculum is not good because the some topic is not tough due to less semester period
Heptic schedule for the classes and more no. Of practical in a semester
Campus is short and some part of the campus is restricted

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students are eligible for the campus placement and internship.There are many software and core company hiring the students from my college. Highest package is 82 lpa and average is about 19 lpa and about 50percent student placed and I am also preparing for the same.

MNNIT ALLAHABAD Complete Insights

Likes

Highly skilled teacher which forms the strong academic base of the institute.
A very strong alumini network helps in getting opportunities to the students easily .
Very healthy relation between juniors and senior . all the seniors are really helpful and guide the junior in every possible way

Dislikes

Fests are of poor quality and not adequate funds are given to the students and the organizing teams.
Very small campus as compared to other colleges.
some faculties are really bad and they just don't listen to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of mechanical is very old fashioned . They teach about the machines and techniques which are not even used in the industries nowadays.More emphasis is given on theoretical knowledge. In my opinion curriculum does'nt helps in real world applications . More emphasis on practical knowledge should be given . There are 2 semesters in a year and each sem has one mid sem and one end sem paper.

Likes

The college runs a program called Anokhi Pahel which aims to teach unprivileged children.

Dislikes

The campus area of the institution is very small compared to other institutes.
The institute infrastructure is poorly designed and poorly maintained.
There’s a lot of academic pressure , professors do not reward marks easily, they are very strict as far as academic is concerned.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad of Bachelors of Technology is quite hectic. But covers both theory and practical. The classes are lined up from 9a.m. till 6p.m. this cycle continues from Monday till Friday, and sometimes we have extra classes even on Saturday and Sunday (which is our holidays)
