University of Lucknow Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Course curriculum is quite good in this university because we have many options for our course combination. University also provides us vocational and co curricular cources to improve our skills like laboratory work.

It's totally a waste of time for both professors and students because professors doesn't love to teach it as a subject because it is just curriculum while students also losses there interest with curriculum and teaching method is also very average and the biggest problem this class occurs always after 4 o clock so least students remain regular in class .

Companies like TCS ,Wipro ,Infosys ,HCL ,Adani are the top recruiters here but many other companies also visit here. The faculty of Engineering and technology has its own dedicated placement cell. Approximately 80% students are placed in every batch with the median package of 3.5 lakh and highest package of 13 lakh.

I choose to do ba because i m interested in pursuing psychology as my career option. The curriculum is adapt according to my knowledge It is same that of Lucknow University and somewhat similar to delhi University with only few changes. The exam ain't very difficult to crack students can prepare 3-4 days before exam and yet ace it.

Placements in my college is not as good but yeah they provide decent placements for management students. students are required to have internship for atleast 45 days for better practical knowledge and get placements in their 4 semester and also have to conduct research program in last semester. Moreover they so many companies like wipro, ITC, infosys visit campus every year for placements. But as i said there is not as good placements offer, the average package is approx 9 lakhs. And almost 70 % student get oncampus placements. I personally don't go to take placement becasue i am planning for masters and research.

I have three subjects. Maths Computer Science Statistics .Maths is in minor and the course curriculum is not special butTeachers in statistics are good and the course curriculum there has also changed according to NEP. Now NEP has been implemented in all the departments and the course curriculum has become of 4 years. We have left the university with our degree or diploma in any year but 4th yearWe get a research degree in the fourth year and we get a degree in the third year. Students prefer to get a third year degree from here. Because there are not so many knowledgeable teachers in the fourth year. They also prefer to do M.Sc instead of fourth year.

From 5th or 6th semester, the student's become eligible for placements. Companies names: Bajaj capital HCL ITC NIIT Jeevansathi, etc Highest package was of 230000 per annum Average package is of 800000 per annum 35%-40% students gets placement. I'll persue MBA while doing a job after getting the degree.

The curriculm is deeper enough to provide you the depth knowledge about the course and have very good authors are suggested but in the scenario of this college lack of practical experiment you will find yourself lacking behind and incompetent for the industry. The frequency of the exam is inconsistent

I would rate the course curriculum ata lucknow university arround 3/5 in terms of relevance and comprehenhiveness. While it covers essential theoretical concepts it could be more aligned with practical applications and industry demands.
