IIT Roorkee Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I had pursued my MBA from DOMS IIT Roorkee as the institute was very popular for its academic excellence and impressive placements records, quality education services, incredibly knowledgeable faculty, challenging curriculum, etc. My admission was purely based on the CAT scores followed by PI.

As my previous experience was in Bridge Engineering , so on the basis of that IIT ROORKEE is best among others ,as it offers a course named as Masters in Structural Engineering with diversification in Bridge Engineering , which makes to choose this Institute specifically over others.Admission took place though multiple doors :- First is through GATE Score without any GD or PI or both Second one is through Sponsored Category like of mine Third one is through Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) For more information on admission you may refer to IIT ROORKEE PG Admission latest Information Brochure.I think it is not a Bad aspect of institute , but Institute must do certain reforms in it's admission process as till now IITR took admission directly on the basis of GATE SCORE for M.Tech / MURP courses which , but I will suggest that in future IIT ROORKEE must took admission for the same programme through GATE Score as well as GD or PI or Both , result of which it increase the opportunities of many relatively lower GATE scores candidates to took dream of doing their Masters from reputed IIT ROORKEE For Dates Tentatively application started from the month of April every year Last date to submit the application - last of April Results announced through COAP portal ( you need to separately register yourself on COAP portal to participate in the counselling process of all IIT's) in multiple rounds along with some Additional round & spot round I don't search or see any forum or websites or blog while selecting this college because in my previous company I made many visits to IIT ROORKEE by which I came to know many more about it automatically .

ROI is the best compared to other elite institutes of the same league as DoMS, IIT Roorkee. Also the placements are also up to the mark . So I decided to jon here. IIT, Roorkee offers MBA programs in different specialisations and the name of IIT was enough to take DOMS IIT Roorkee among my first priority institutes. It was 12th in 2020 MBA rankings of NIRF. The institute is also approved by both AICTE. The CAT score, work experience, academic records and Interview performance of the students are referred for admissions at DOMS IIT Roorkee.

First of all civil Engineering at IIT ROORKEE is the best branch, i wanted to pursue my career in civil engineering and also entrance score also matters. So based on my entrance score i could get civil engineering at IIT Roorkee and lower branches in other colleges.

First, It is close to Delhi so I can easily visit Delhi on weekends as it is my hometown.Second, IIT Roorkee is one of the oldest IITs and is well known for its placements and research.Third, apart from studies, IIT Roorkee has a lot of extra curricular activities. The institute has all sports facilities, swimming pool, students club for indoor games, dance and music classes. So, one can learn many things during their stay at IIT Roorkee.Fourth, the college is located in Uttarakhand and is very close to Rishikesh, Dehradun and Mussoorie. So, for people who love to travel, IIT Roorkee will be your gateway to many weekend trips and treks. The college has a trekking club which takes students to various beautiful treks in Uttarakhand as well as Himachal Pradesh and that too at a nominal cost.

The reason of choosing the institute was the brand value and global recognistion of IIT group. The institute was ranked 12th by NIRF,2020 rankings all around India. It has also been approved by both AICTE & UGC. Admissions to MBA program in the institute are done on the basis of CAT exam score, work experience & Interview performance

Good Aspects: Academic Excellence, Academic rigour, sustainable students environment, super-friendly and knowledgeable faculty members, etc. Bad aspects: peer pressures. Admission process at the DOMS IIM Roorkee is sone considering the CAT score, PI and work experience .

At IIT Roorkee, education stretches beyond classroom sessions. The quality of Department of Management in teaching is of top notch. I was pleased by the top rankings of college along with the IIT brand name. An MBA from DOMS IIT Roorkee will surely benefit in my careeer building. And it proved correct after my studies.
