- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

It has been approved by both AICTE (All India Council For Technical Education) & UGC (Union Grants Commission). Admissions to the program are based on CAT score, work experience and Interview round performance.

My home is in Delhi and IIT Roorkee was comparatively the closest and the best institutes around which was the main reason that I set my mind in getting in here. Also, it is ranked pretty high in the NIRF rankings. To Crack the cut-off here, I attempted twice for the CAT exam and in my second try I finally succeeded. The admission was being done solely on merits and personality. I applied here through the website of IIT Roorkee and paid an application fee of INR 1600 for the process.

Remarks:
The university is well known for the placements, campus life and have a good rank among top indian colleges. I preferred this college over others as it is near to my home town providing me opportunity to study near my home. One must clear JEE mains and JEE advanced exam to get into IIT roorkee. The campus placements are very good and have a very good average package.

Avg for this time is around 11 LPA. Top global firms hire in niche fields. Some recruiters of the 2019-2021 batch are Royal Bank of Scotland, Ernst and young, Deloitte, Cognizant, Infosys, Jio-saavn, Paytm. The highest package is 19 LPA for the passing batch.
DoMS, IIT Roorkee has a relatively small batch size so everyone gets placed without much heck.

Placement Experience:
Placement season begins in our final year. The nature of companies coming to IITR is quite diverse. There are software giants like Microsoft, Oracle, Google, Facebook. Banks like Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. Oil and mining companies of Schlumberger, Shell and Rio Tinto, and numerous other firms. This year the total number of job offers were 803 and companies participated 139. Highest international package: 1.5 crores. Highest domestic offer: 80 lakhs. The placement season begins in the months of October, November, and December. Your CG matters and most importantly coding matters in one way or another.

Remarks:
IITs in India are the best place for pursuing B.Tech. It has the excellent placements records, my cousin brother also studied computer science and engineering from here and he got placed in a top IIT. So when I got chance to choose my college, I choose the same.

Placement Experience:
As with other IITs placement of Iit Roorkee is just wow. Placement starts from the 7th semester of btech student. The average package is around 10-12 lacks per annum where maximums is 1.5crore. more than 200 companies including google Microsoft visits to the campus. And almost every student gets placed. In core, the average package is 8-10lacks where in noncore it is about 12 lack per annum. The highest package in India is about 50lacks

This is my Dream Institute. I know i will have a very bright future after completion of my studies here. God blessed me for such an honor. The people here are friendly and very good. They respect each other. The good here is awesome. I am comfortable with social interaction as nobody is arrogant or overproud. Wr all are at the same level here. I recommend everyone to study hard and be where I am today.

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
- Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
- The videos are extremely short and sometimes fail to explain the entire concept
