If you choose Production or Power in JU, you will have good on-campus job opportunities. Production Engineering is a branch of Mechanical Engineering itself. The syllabus will be more or less the same. Mechanical at Kalyani University will be slightly better than Jalpaiguri. You may not get lucrative job packages at on-campus placement from Kalyani University but in the long run, you will have a much better hold with your Mechanical degree. You can expect well-paid jobs in the future. Your future will depend on the branch you are choosing so choose according to your interest. Total fees for the course is 8000.It is not increasing every year. So much scholarship opportunities are available in university.This fees is same for all the department. You can also avail Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship.

yearly fees of Power Engineering department is 2450 /-. tution fees - 900/- , Lab & Workshop Fees - 1500 /- ,sessional charge- 50/-. the fees of all batchmates is same irrelevant of category. there are several scholarship like SVMCM( 60000per year) , Freeship ( which is given to the candidate who have faced financial issue but it is given to 10% student of university.the yearly fees is refunded in this condition), JU Alumini scholarship(it is the flexible amount whose range is from 300-30,000/ year.it is given by considering the financial problem rating),etc.

Complete Overview of B.E. Power Engineering in Jadavpur University

There is no tution fee in the Jadavpur University. It is the cheapest tier-1 engineering college in India which provides great campus placements and so many opportunities. As I'm in 2nd year of B.E. Power Engineering course, the total fees I had to pay was Rs. 710 INR only. Apart from that there are Full and Half Freeships are being offered based on students financial condition. You can also be eligible for student endowment scholarship upto Rs. 30000 INR. There are other scholarships also being offered such as SC/ST/OBC stipend Appr. 10000 pa, Kanyashree Prakalpa Rs. 25000 pa, SVMCM Rs. 60000 pa and other scholarships also. According to the Placements 2023, out of 36 eligible students 34 were placed with a placement percentage of 94.44% with Median Package INR 7 LPA, Average Package INR 8.16 LPA and Highest Package of INR 46.38 LPA. Our top recruiters were Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Schrodinger, Citi Bank, HSBC, DE Shaw India, Texas Industries.

Tuition fee is very less. You will be getting degree with 10000 rs only. Hostel fee is 25 rs per month. Govt scholarship is there and also student can avail alumni scholarship, which can cover all your 4 year expenditure of the course.

Everything about JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY

The fees s of our university is really very very low compared to other colleges except IT and CSE all other departments costs less than 6000? per year. Only CSE and IT charges 18000-22000 ? per year and that is also very low compared to other colleges. If you have financial issues then you can opt for several scholarship options like SVMCM, Jadavpur University's official scholarship programme and many others

The total fees for the whole four years are 11000 rupees only. Since this is a government college there is no fees hike. There are many scholarships for students from financially backward families. Although there is an on-campus job one can apply for research work and receive some.

The fee for 4 years is 11000 only. It is highly affordable and one of the best options available. There is no fee hike. For hostels monthly rent is 100 rupes only The college does provide scholarships to students from finically backward classes. However, there is no Job on campus available.
