It is one of the best universities in India. NIRF ranking of this year was 16 for engineering only and 5 among all universities. It has one of the best faculties, especially the mechanical department and the ambience is really great and welcoming.

Need to re-look course curriculum to be more practical and time-oriented.

Jadavpur University is an open university which was established in 1955. Earlier, it was known as Bengal Technical Institute. The university features two campuses. Also, the QS World University Rankings has placed the university in 74th position.

All the big as well as small companies of all over its sector and core sector visit our college campus and recruit students according to their cgp and gives high packages to them. All over campus almost 90 % of students get placed and given a very high package accordingly their grades.

The college helps its students grow and be capable enough to face the world. It helps build quantities like leadership, planning, organization, communication, sportsmanship, etc.

It has good NIRF ranking(5th in universities). Therefore it is one of the best universities in India. Maths was my favourite subject so I'm majoring in it now. It has one of the lowest fees in any university in India.

I have no doubt that it is the best institution in our state. as well as.good atmosphere in campus.students are meritorious and friendly.every faculty is very good.it occupied the national uinersity ranking phenomena.NIRF ranking 5 now.

Admission to Jadavpur University is highly competitive, as it consistently ranks amongst the best universities in India.For admissions to the Engineering Faculty at the undergraduate level, students are admitted through the WBJEE, an entrance examination open to students from all over India.

I certain did not just apply for this college or intitution but also for St.Xavier's college, St.Xaviers university and for amity university as well. Among these i had to sit for an entrance examination for xavier's college and xavier's university while on the other hand i had to appear for a direct interview for JD BIRLA and Amity University adter my name got shortlisted. After my interview and proper research i came to a conclusion that JD Birla is the best institute for BBA in kolkata. They have excellent faculty, facilities, the activities you get to be a part of here is amazing. So soon my name got short listed on the first merit list and we had to pay the admission fee within 48hrs. So thats how i chose it to be the college where i belonged.

I chose this university because it was one of the top universities in India, it was close to my home and hence daily commute was possible for me and having an idea of the excellent campus life, drove me to prefer this university to others.
