Positive: 1.There is unity among the students. They help each other.2.This is a student-run University so students have freedom to do what they want.3. Seniors and Alumni are very helpful.4. Placement and job opportunity is good5. Research field is strong6. Affordable.Negative:1. Campus size is not that big.2. Labs are not maintained.3. Hostel facility are given to selected students only

Now jadavpur University are facing lack of faculties. most of the department have this probemlem. Some laboratory have facing maintaing problem. some building habe also facing maintanace problem. Authority have some decisions making probelm.

This is the best place if you want education with fun at the minimum cost. The courses are not so heavily overworked so people have time to do things of their own. The fees are not high and at the same time placements and admission to other top colleges are high.

Our campus is good enough but there is a problem in my view that our campus is not smoking free.

Jadavpur University also does campain in various parts on India to help the backward classes. Apart from this the university provides quality education in such a subsidised rate. It is one of the best universities in India. Recently it came among top 10 universities of India

Talking about positive remark the placement cell is quite nice, every department have their own placement coordinators who ensures coming of companies. Talking about negative remark the campus and infrastructure is not too good , it can be said average. The hostel mess facility is bit poor.

Very friendly atmosphere with helpful people around. Great culture to pursue your passion. Enriched with both extra curricular as well as academics. A little less space but very lively and safe campus.

One can complete Bachelor of Engineering here just for Rs. 10,000. This allows students from all kinds of background come together and study and study without a burden of loans. Another positive thing remains the inclusive culture.

If you want to be a better human you should be here. This campus not only teach me subjects from my stream but it teaches me about moral values.It also teaches me not to differentiate between two human in terms of class, region or economy. To get a life you should try it atleast once.

Though lab facilites are best but the labs are highly conjusted to work. And also there is no such infrastructure to deal a student with a single instrument. very often 4 to 5 students have to work on a single instrument
