Jadavpur University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I don't want to give negative remark but there are couple of things that outsiders don't about us and they always tend to say if a student is from jadavpur university, he is a anti national and so much more, the list goes on. If you don't know about certain things, you can not judge a student or a man, people these days don't understand this thing.

Jadavpur University is reputed institute all know and it is also known as place where students have much freedom to express themselves. Taking a stand of something, they also sometime stand against government.

The infrastructure could have been better. For the computer labs government should send more money. Overall I am happy with the infrastructure. This is a very good college as well as University. Sometimes there are political issues.

As everyone knows about Jadavpur University I need not to say more. There are more positives than negetives. A student gets exposed to all sorts of culture whuch helps them in their better future.

Lots of positives are there to say regarding JU. It's the premier institution in West Bengal and perhaps entire eastern India for a reason. The free thinking, diversity, tolerance, political consciousness which it imbibes into its students is something everyone of them will fondly cherish when they will set foot out of those beloved gates for one last time.

Our university need to cope with the technology. Though it is a very reputed college it needs to adapt to the changes. Though pursuing a course in such an esteemed college has its perk but even then the lack of extracurricular activities makes us regret sometimes our decision of joining this college.

Overall, this is only one of the very few institutions in India which produces human beings instead of money making machines. Ones entry in this college ensures that he/she develops academically, mentally, emotionally, physically and as a good human being. Being a part of this University for more than 2 years, this definitely is my second home(my school was never my 2nd home).

The college is good but one needs to look into the expense part if that is affordable to the students or not. It will definitely help you improve your personality and get a lot of contacts. The teachers are all also good

Jadavpur University is one of the best institute in India. According to NIRF ranking it ranked 6th in University, 14th in Engineering and 13th in overall catagory. Quality of education and research activities are good but the infrastructure need to be improved. Daily cleaning work is much needed. Also need to improve the security.

In our college you will have a great enjoyment always and had a great alumni network and you must have a good placement which everyone wants which are our positive points and if we discussing about negative point it may be about our college infrastructure.
