When I's in +2, I applied for WBJEE, since I's so passionate about physics & its application i.e,engineering specially in field of electrical, electronics and mechanical. I got this goverment College in WBJEE counselling. But on the name of govterment Burdwan University is playing with students career.
Coming to the admission procedure, it is based on 12th examination 's marks that a student gets or equivalent examination. No interview or entrance exam is taken. On the basis of those marks, the eligibility criteria is set and students are shortlisted.
I applied for the admission by filling the online application form and submitting it along with all the relevant documents. After verification and acceptance of my application I was granted the admission in the the M.Sc program. I opted for M.Sc in Computer Science because I have a UG degree in the domain and wanted to pursue higher education.
The admission process is very simple.Students do not have to appear for any entrance examination.Based on their marks secured in higher secondary examination students can get admission. There is marks relaxation for reserved category students.
Our college environment is very good and eco-friendly. It is situated a little far from the city. Transport communication is well connected and buses, auto rickshaws can be easily accessible. An excellent college for quality education.
I got admission in this college by passing my (10+2) Examination from any recognized board for eg. CBSE. The college released it's first cut off list and i got admission on the basis of Merit. Later, I was called for counselling to verify my subjects.
In a complete sense our college is good in academic , extracurricular activities, and sports, the professors are also very student friendly. But the accommodation is not so good, and the canteen is worst.
