Admission to our college are based on direct application that is one has to submit the detailed application form along with documents as a part of the application process. Once the application is shortlisted the admission is granted and document verification and other procedureal formalities are conducted. I opted for this college for my graduation as it is one of the popular colleges in the state of West Bengal. Moreover the Economics course offered by the college is also famous.

Admission in our college are done based on shortlisting of candidates on fulfillment of the required cut-off for respective course. Cutoff is nothing but the percentage of marks obtained by the student at 10 + 2 level. Since I passed with distinction in 10 + 2, I easily got admission in the program of my choice. The reason for opting this college was that I was looking for a woman's only college and this being that college near to my residence so I opted for it.

The admission process of the college is very simple. A student need to fill an online form released by the college every year. Thereafter, by mentioning all the information asked by the college a merit list is declared by the college.

Kalna College, established in 1943, is a college in Kalna, Purba Bardhaman district. It offers undergraduate courses in arts, commerce and sciences. It is affiliated to University of Burdwan. Students of either sex who have passed the H.S. Examination or such other equivalent Examination under any other authority recognized by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, and I.S.C., C.B.S.E. are eligible for admission to the 1st year B.Sc. Honours and General Course. The admission is done entirely on merit basis.

Maharajadhiraj Uday Chand Women's College, known as M. U. C. Women's College, established in 1955, is a women's college in Bardhaman. It offers undergraduate courses in arts and science and PG course in English. It was at first affiliated to Calcutta University. To get admission in this college, the student will have to fill the form and appear for the entrance exam and based on their merit in the exam they will be selected. Meritorious students having good percentage in class 12 can avail direct admissions too.

The admission process is based on the results of graduation. All the students must complete graduation in 10+2+3 pattern.No entrance exam is conducted for pursuing this course. My honor is in Philosophy.

A very nice college with the best teachers.I love all my classmates. They all are very helpful.In this college, I got a chance to meet many students from different states. Our college principal also a very good human being.

The college requires the candidate to be a 10+2 pass out from any stream and any recognized board. The selection/admission takes place through the merit list of students and their marks scored in their 10+2.

Positive remarks are likes. a healthy atmosphere, teacher student bond, cleanliness, academic guidance.Negative are . Technical laboratory must be improved, need more Seminar kind activity, professor student ratio
