This course total cost 30,000 rupees in divide 6 semester in 3 year, this course have lots of scholarship, financial assistance like swami vivekananda merit cum mins scholarship was the best scholarship in west bengal
The campus was beautiful and the professors were friendly and helpful.
Placement services are also good . around 60 percent student get placed

Dislikes

I really disliked how late our semester exam are held. this causes problem for 6th sem students as they can't apply for other places early.
The placement is really not good and many of the students hated internships and jobs for the medical representative designation.
The staff gets rude sometimes and are not helpful ( some of them)

SXC Kolkata is Queering other colleges of Kolkata!!

Likes

The first thing is the college location as it is located in Central Kolkata.
Competitive environment at college is provided and therefore some or the other competition are always going on at our campus.
Finally it's Bengal and more so it's Kolkata so singing and dancing in events is also quite common here.

Dislikes

Morning college only has a batch of boys and that's like a bit of discrimination.

KPMG, E&Y and the big four that we call are the ones who get at SXC Campus. For B.Com (Hons) highest package so far was when E&Y broke the bank at 28 Lpa for one of the students in 2023. Almost 75% students are placed here and considering the demand and supply, this is a great ratio.

A Deep Dive into Campus

Likes

The strong academic performance in the fields of Arts , science, Commerce.
Very popularly know for its extracurricular activities.
The college has well infrastructure with modern class rooms, equipped library, computer halls and seminar halls.

Dislikes

The college doesn’t provide any type of on-campus hostels making it difficult from the students from other states to stay.
The campus can feel very much crowded due to the huge number of students.
As the college is academically rigorous, students may feel academical pressures, especially during exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen my specific course (Bcom) because it is more of a comfortable course for me and it's easy for me to understand the course more easily and effectively. Although the curriculum is strong in commerce subject AI, Data analysis, Fintech. These types of emerging technology could also be enhanced. The frequency and timing of the exams are very friendly to students because they get a longer period of time to complete their syllabus and the difficulty level is pretty good as it comes under Calcutta University.

Likes

Teaching faculty of our college is very much helpful.
Girls to boys ratio in the college is good for educational environment.
Campus of the college is also unique and eye-catching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness the courses available in the college are very relevant and future oriented for all the students as well as comprehensive too. Any student would easily appreciate it.

Choose wisely

Likes

The unions are really helpful to the students
Teachers are good and very helpful towards students
Ragging is prohibited in our college and students well disciplined

Dislikes

The college is not so well maintained and i think it can be resolved.
The college is not too big but yeah its classes are big .
The colleges tabels are very old and should be changed .

Placement Experience:

The college placements are low just like other colleges the might have chance if he /she scored good marks in every semester exams and have good skill in their streams .As I told before that I might do MBA after my B.com. The 30% to 40% students are placed by the college . The packages offered to students are between 45000 to 60000 per month.

The best college till now

Likes

All the things of college is good , benches are also good and in good condition.
Class size is also good no rush in class.
Teacher are also helpful and also a has a good nature of all the teachers

Dislikes

Nothing is to dislike about the college .
College don't have any function hall like others

Likes

The aspect I love is very friendly environment
The quality of the campus is very calm and friendly
The teachers are very friendly and helpful

The cafeteria of the college and toilet of the college

I don't know about any specific curriculum about my college because don't go regularly. Improvements that can be made in teaching is making attendance compulsory, regular activities, etc. so that students find a way to get to college

Teacher are friendly they explain all the topics very well.
They offered fun activities on annual function
The infrastructure is quite good nit that much but it's quite good

Dislikes

They should introduce some more Books in library the collection of books was not good
The teaching method was not good, so many students are there in a single classroom we were not able to listen the lecture if we sat in back.
There was no placement programme for students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was good some of the topics are related to real world but it was quite difficult to understand we have to do self study and analyse the topics for understanding it clearly. They should improve some parts of taxation and overall was good experience.

A journey of Legacy

Likes

Excellent teaching faculty. Specially the Sociology department
Very supportive staffs and office members.
A huge collection of books in library. Good to go

Dislikes

Please try to maintain the ceiling fans.
Please maintain the hygiene in toilets and washroom
Please maintain a proper decorum before the college campuses. It's become too crowded.

Placement Experience:

From the end of second year placement starts in college. But in maximum cases it starts during the first of 3rd year. TCS is the main recruiter in this college as per my knowledge. Other companies also come. Nearly 300000/- is average lpa.

South Kolkata Law College is best!!

Likes

Library is as good as compared to Calcutta University it is as stocked at that.
Faculties are so helpful in nature that they give us proper contacts for internships.
Our Principal too interacts with students regularly and he looks after us as his own kids.

Dislikes

The campus is too small and by too small I mean just parking and one building, that's all.

Placement Experience:

Law firms and Goenka group are the ones who hires all the students who appear for placements in the final year. ITC too have started getting students from our college and now Indus Law Firm is the one that has taken students at a package worth 8-10 lakhs.

Likes

Teachers are very friendly and corporative
The campus is full of greenary and taken care of the plants.
The admistrative structure is very helpful

Dislikes

The canteen food not so good but very pricey
Washroom are not so cleaned or well maintained
Benches int he classroom are not too strong

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exams are after every 5-6 months . The teachers provide ample of notes and guidance before exams. They even provide knowledge of outer world and commerce related topics for general knowledge . I'm very much happy to choose my course and fulfilling my degree without any problem
