As a college near my place, I saw the college as an obvious choice. I got eighty-seven percent in my 12th standard, so I took a form from the reception and applied to the college. I got the confirmation of my acceptance later on.

Raiganj Surendranath Mahavidyalaya is a college in Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal. It is affiliated to the University of Gour Banga, Malda. It offers two undergraduate courses B.A. and B.Sc., with different fields of specialization.

B.A. is available in different specializations, and I could choose any subject like English, History, Physical Education, but I had a keen interest in Geography since school, so I chose this. Admission is done on merit basis.

Students should have completed their high school with at least 60%. The application form is available on the college website as well as on the college website. The application fee could be paid online or on the college campus. Documents should be submitted along with the application and that would be verified at the end of the counseling. Based on the merit list the students would be admitted to the college.

I got admission in this college on the merit basis. The candidate should score 45% in all the subjects to get admission in this college and passed their 12th with minimum percentage of 50%. Whereas the SC/ST should score 40% or 35% in their 12th.

I totally love this college. The best part of the college is its friendly atmosphere. The teachers are very supportive, the seniors are always ready to help their juniors in studies or activities organised by the college. The courses which college provide is very good , the teaching way of the teachers is very easy to understand.

For getting admission in our college, the students have to first register themselves online and offline for the desired course. Then the students are selected first on the basis of their eligibility. The students have to follow different modes of admission according to different courses.

The course admission is merit based. You have to fill an application form which you can get online or you can go to the campus and get. I could fill the form because I matched he eligibility criteria and luckily got my name in the first merit list

A strictly merit-based admission process is designed for the course. For Botany, the applicant must have a noticeable score in Biology/Botany subject in 12th board exams for making a spot for yourself in the merit list.
