Student Snaps:

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am keen interested in Mathematics from class 7-8 and I want to enrich myself with higher education in mathematics. In our department Teacher-Student ratio is 1:12. Faculty members are very qualified most of the teacher holds Ph.D. and have presented their excellency in various seminars. Faculty members, as well as Principal and vice- Principal Maharaj, are quite helpful. They are quite dedicated to solving the problem faced by students. The examination is one of the key reasons which has improved the NAAC grade. The examination is taken in a timely. There are two examinations in every semester one is mid sem examination and one is end sem. As it is an autonomous college so the question standard is quite high and almost every topic is covered in classes. So academically this is one of the best colleges in INDIA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because I am good at English and I have got the highest marks in English in HS. In the future, I want to be a teacher or professor of English. We have approximately 100 students in the English department and we had a total of 7 professors. So the student-faculty ratio is slightly bad. It is around 14 students per 1 faculty. Our faculties have done Ph.D. or M.Phil. They are highly qualified, no doubt in this. Most important our HOD and assistant professors are very student-friendly. Their teaching method is very simple. They have taken regular classes and many extra classes. They are very communicative, adaptable, and dedicated to teaching us. We had one main exam every year. Because in our time, the system was 1+1+1. The exams were difficult if you don't study.

Course Curriculum Overview:

After completing graduation I wanted to pursue higher studies and I want to research Bengali literature. So I have chosen this course. We have around 10 professors and around 75 students in our PG Bengali section. So our student-faculty ratio is very good. It's approximately 7-8 students per one faculty. Our sir and ma'am are very qualified. Almost every faculty in our department have done P.hD. Their teaching method is very unique and they have taken regular online classes in a pandemic situation. In short, they are very willing to teach us and they are student-friendly. We have 4 semesters in the PG course. So we have 4 main exams and internal exams before every semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because I have got good marks in chemistry in my 12th board exams and I love & enjoy chemistry more than another subject. We have 5 professors and a total of 34 students in our department. Our student-faculty ratio is very good indeed. It's approximately 7 students per one faculty. Our hod ma'am is a little bit rude but she teaches us very well. Other professors are good as well. All of our faculties have done P.hD and they used to take regular classes. We have learned a very good practical lesson in a chemistry lab. Their teaching method is very much interactive. We have given one exam every year. So in 3 years bachelor course, we have to give 3 main exams along with practice exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

After completing graduation in Philosophy I had a wish to study longer. So I have chosen this course. After doing post-graduation I wish to seat in the NET, SET exam. I want to be a school teacher or professor. We have around 45 students in our department batch and we have 5 professors in total. So the student-faculty ratio is one professor per 9 students which is more than enough. Our professors are qualified. But I don't like everyone's teaching method. Some professors are very boring while taking the class. Some of them did not take online classes regularly. Overall it's a medium good experience. We have a total of 4 exams to pass. And we have internal class tests and assignments to submit before every semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty is quite cooperative. Before Covid, all the lectures and practicals were conducted routinely. During everything was online. As obvious practical experience was hampered. Lectures are usually delivered by using ppts and the faculty is pretty thorough about the syllabus. There are 6 semesters in my 3 yrs. Course and there's one midterm exam between the semester end the sem exams. End sem exams include written papers, viva, practical scores and midterm exams only include written papers. If books and study materials were followed properly it's not really hard to get through exams.

We have almost 35 students in our department. And we have two professors and 2 guest lecturers in our university. So our student-faculty ratio is very healthy for good studies. We have three professors, ma'am. All of them have done Ph.D. They are very student-friendly. They are very interactive while taking online classes. They teach us practical's thoroughly. We have a total of 4 semesters and some practice exams to pass. If anyone study properly he/she can pass.
