East calcutta girls college is situated at laketown. It is under west bengal state university. All the teachers and clerks are helpful. Principal mam is very strict. Every year every student get good marks . Though in term of space our college is not so big but I think good environment and education are more important than space.

One the best college for girls in bhopal. U will find many VIP visiting your college as this is govt college. So it's easy for them to get a call from this college. Faculty is well off. Only flaw is u are our own in the clg.

The admission process is simple and easy in this college for any course. I chose to do BCom from this college by applying online. First of all, I visited the online website of the college and fill the online form available on the website and got selected from the merit list published by the college and got admitted through the counseling.

The basic criteria of the admission are passed in 10+2 in the relevant subject. The application starts generally in the month of June and lasts till the second week of June and it's an online process. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website and filling the form available on the website and college publish the merit list and after the counseling, I got the admission.

The positive sides are the well supporting faculties, good facilities, well equipped library, laboratory, good student teacher relationship, availability of the principal all the time.The negative side is that there is no hostel in our college.

Positive remarks is "It is located near the railway station & nurseing, hospital". Many people knowns as this college and suggested for study. Gobardanga Hindu College is established in 1947, it's very old clg in our area

college is good but its just much more disciplined then expected, canteen is not well maintained, no extracurricular activities, only good faculty which teach you a great way ahead, syllabus is completely done.
