The teachers the realy good . education quality is so good
This college is very much old , it established in 2004 , here many cultural programs like freshers, fest , rabindra jayanti and some medical programs occurs which help you to relax also become knowledgeable.
Location of my hostel is quite good avery thing is near

Dislikes

No annual or tech fest are organised.. so we get bored
Very monotonous also old concept ... no students association are there don't have any rights to say anything

Bankura Sammilani Medical College is good for GNM course

Our college campus is good and huge with a playground
Our college faculty is truly good and helpful
There are well maintained demonstration room in our college

Dislikes

Food is prepared in unhygienic way in mess
Underdeveloped and poor and old building
Ragging from siniors is a big problem in our college

After 12th exam....I prepared myself for competative examinations....I prepared for WBJEE.... cracked this exam...choose Bankura sammilani medical College cause my hometown is bankura...I have passion to be a nurse from childhood

Likes

Infrastructure of the college is very good as the medical college was built recently in 2013.
Hostel facility is excellent. You will get single room hostels for 10k per annum.
Patient flow is very good and academics also good.

Dislikes

As a South Indian I am not comfortable with the mess food. But it may be good for others.
Some facilities like gym, cricket and football ground, badminton court etc are not of good quality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was tough. But the facilities and classes taken by the faculties makes our syllabus more understanable snd easier. Teaching methods also hrlps us to prepare very well for the exams.

College is newly built so everything is neat and clean. All electronics are functional
Its location. Theres a small island type lake with migrant birds
Form its 5th floor the nearby sea is visible i.e a part of bay of Bengal

Dislikes

Very dusty area with small particles in air
Sometime internet connection is very poor
Less hostel accommodation seats are available

Choosing mbbs was my first and foremost dream since childhood. It is due to my personal interest and social expectations. Its part of course that is clinal posting helps us to interact with real patient and helps us to learn from real diseases

Curiculum is extremely rigorous. You have to study everyday. Making mental maps is very important. Exams happen twice a year. Class test happens after each chapter to test the knowledge retention and better work on the weak topics.

The faculties their teaching and the mentorship qualities
The campus infrastructure was nice and having adequate patient output in respective dept.
Campus Life including all enjoyment as well as promoting extracurricular activities.

Dislikes

No separate cardiology department and cardiology specialist.
No separate ground for playing activities.
No auditorium available for organizing various program's.

Canteen food is unhygenic type and the kitchen should wash weekly
Some students of hostel make irritation to their juniors

I choose the course for my passion I want to help poor people for their disability to buy medicine or to go for a checkup. Here in my college the teaching method is good but the time taking in class should expand for students. The exams are conducted like test is conducted weekly Semester is conducted 4 months repeating and university exam is conducted yearly

Teachers are very approachable and friendly.
Very good patient exposure which makes clinical study very enriching
Campus is nice and airy and food is okay that is you can have it

Dislikes

The hostel gym is not maintained properly
The hostel and campus is not cleaned regularly
The patients and patient party is not educated so sometimes some unwanted situation arises

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is MBBS. A dream of many students...so it was a choice since childhood to choose this course. This course makes you a doctor and prepares you for treating patients. The course is well designed but clinical practice is not upto the mark. Like foreign countries if patient exposure and patient examination scope is increased then better clinicians can be made. The exam level is quite difficult and very stressful for the students. No option is given for the entire examination and passing percentage is 50 percent which make the examination quite difficult.

Earlier, curriculum used to be an integral part of our college but then one year in the Middle was a complete stop. But now, slowly again all we have in curriculum is dance, skit, recitation, singing programme but they are never arranged by the college

Bams course is good. there is lots of scope after doing bams. we can try for post graduate. we can do the clinical practice easily. in clinical practice there is no side effects for any Ayruvedic medicine
