NIT Imphal Ph.D. (Civil Engineering) Fees
The Ph.D. programme at NIT Manipur has a nominal fee structure. The revised fee structure for the 2025 batch onwards is available on the official NIT Manipur website. Based on the previous fee structure, the semester fees for PhD scholars are minimal, as the primary financial support is through the institute fellowship/assistantship. GATE/NET-qualified regular scholars receive a monthly stipend (JRF: Rs 37,000 per month for the first two years; SRF: Rs 42,000 per month from the third year onwards) as per MHRD/DST norms.

- Sponsored, Self-Sponsored, and Part-Time scholars are not entitled to institute fellowship.
- Caution money is refundable upon completion of the programme.
- SC/ST students may be eligible for additional fee waivers as per Government of India norms.
