- Yeah they are well qualified one proffessor i know he has done both btech and mtech like this many are well qualified another math teacher has very much social knowledge also like he is a member of one national commiteee
- The college provides a wide range of scholarships for merit students excelling in academics.
- I am an 8th sem student and i am proud to say that i have already been placed in a prestigious company with a great package.
Dislikes
- Very bad at this, there is no scope for any kind of fests in our college.
- I'll pay 250000 per year and we don't get any kind of scholarship because your cgpa has to be above 8.1 so no scholarship from government also they would discriminate us and they won't allow us to get it.
- Hostel rules are too strict, curfew of 7 is very early and the girls hostel is outside the campus which is a bit inconvenient

- Too study oriented curriculum. Too much focus on academics.
- Attendance too strict compared to other colleges
- Teachers can be strict sometimes. Shouldn't ever fight with them as they can screw you over .
Placement Experience:
The placements are the best in Bangalore currently. Right now due to inflation the entire country is faced with a shortage of jobs but still PESU manages to get better placements compared to other colleges in the city. You can also apply for off campus placements.

- Lack of placement opportunities in department of BBA.
- Outdated curriculam in some aspects in BBA.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum seemed a bit dated, especially as the semesters progressed. However, some improvements can be seen with the curricula of the junior batches. Industry relevant talks are held, albeit infrequently. Industrial visits are promised but you never know if or when you will be taken for one. Certain focus areas like finance are taught well and the coursework is certainly relevant in practice. Improvements that can be made are to understand the reality of current job markets and adjust the syllabus to suit that. Concepts which are rooted in century old theory need to be scrapped and a more practical approach must be taken to teach relevant concepts. Exams are not all that difficult and they hold MCQ style internals which are a bit easier to study for than if they were a full fledged written exam. Faculty are reasonably good.

- Not enough places to roam in the clg , feels like it's cramped
Course Curriculum Overview:
Engineering mathematics and other subjects are pretty useful . We were thought python in first sem and we are being thought of c this sem , as a computer science student I think languages are important but the staff isn't that great .

- Regular events to keep us excited to go back to college
- The number of canteens are many, thanks to which we can always get good food.
- The campus is huge, and the library is regularly updated with good materials.
Dislikes
- The college is centred around BTech and BBA, and we don't get that many opportunities
- Our department is all locked up in one building, so we don't get any interaction with others.
- Infrequent communication between the teachers
Placement Experience:
The placements cell is good, and the staff is helpful. However, because of recession, the companies aren't coming that frequently to college. While the cell is helpful, it will always depends on the student taking the exams, since it's the company's decision to hire, not the universities.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is very good.
It is up-to-date and updates almost every year. it does not focus only on bookish knowledge but also on the practical application of the knowledge in day-to-day activities.

- The exposure we have access to at PES is amazing.
- The opportunities we get in terms of career or co curricular activities is great.
- PES has a beautiful infrastructure with a lot of amenities for the students.
Dislikes
- PES can improve with placements at the EC campus.
- It can also improve on resume building with accordance to the company standards.
Placement Experience:
From semester 3, students are eligible for placement.
The highest package so far has been 3 lakhs per annum.
My plans after my degree is doing my higher studies abroad.
Many MNCs have visited PES for campus placements.

- It is too small around 30 acres and poor internet connectivity
- The authorities are very strict and the rules are also not acceptable
- College's management is also very strict

our college top recruitments are Cisco,Intel,Akamai,LinkedIn,Amazon and many more
around 60% of students will get placed

- Genuine people who make it a great place for improving your social skills and expanding your network
- Events, hackathons, fests, lots to learn by taking part in these
- College website provides necessary and relevant material for exams
Dislikes
- It might feel difficult to meet people and talk to them initially but you just have to try, you get better and it gets easier.
- Food is nice, however not much jain food is available on campus.
- Some subjects like mechanical engineering sciences and engineering physics may seem pointless.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose btech because of general interest in the technology sector, the startup culture and the opportunity to expand your network. Based on this, engineering is pretty relevant and it does prepare us for real world applications and further studies. Maybe we can improve opportunities for research.

CSE is an emerging demand and that is by I choose the course. There r many faculty each subject is taken by a different faculty and almost every faculty has done their master expect few. We will have our exams every two units are done along with that u will have assignments to write and then at last sem end exams

From 5th semester students are eligible for campus placement. The salary package is in high level from 17 lakhs per annum and the highest package offrwas 80.3 lakhs per annum. The placement rate is 60 percentage.

PES University is a good private university offering four-year B.Tech Computer Science Engineering (CSE) courses. It is one of the most popular courses at the university and is worth the hype.
Students can go through the following reasons to know more about the CSE course at PES University:
- Approvals & Accreditations: The university is recognized by UGC and the Government of Karnataka. It is also accredited by NAAC and holds the approval of AICTE, making it a trustable institution.
- Fees: The B.Tech CSE fee at PES University is INR 4,80,000 per annum and a candidate also has to pay INR 10,000 as a one-time non-refundable admission fee. The university courses are more expensive in comparison to other universities, so if you cannot afford high fees don't apply for this university.
- Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for CSE is very simple at PES University Bangalore. Candidates must have passed Class XII with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to be eligible for admission.
- Selection: The selection of candidates is based on merit in the entrance examination. The university conducts PESSAT to offer admission in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses including B.Tech CSE. The university also accepts KCET and JEE Mains scores.
- Minor Specialization: The students can also choose B.Tech CSE in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as a minor specialization giving more aligned specialization to applicants.
- Seat Intake: There are a total of 720 seats available in the CSE course among which 288 are KCET quota seats, 288 seats are available for PESSAT candidates and 36 seats are reserved for JEE Mains students. The university has also reserved 108 seats for management/ NRI/ foreign/ sponsored category students. 43 seats are there for Lateral entry students and the remaining 29 seats are for CET quota students applying for lateral entry in CSE.
- Ranking: The university has been ranked 100-150 for Engineering (B.Tech) by NIRF 2023.
