Students become eligible in the 7th semester onwards. Companies visiting our college includes TATA, Godrej, Microsoft, Accenture, Maruti, etc. The highest package was given by Microsoft @43 lakhs/annum, and the average package is 3.5 lakhs/annum. Almost 95%+ people get placed in the college placement itself. I want to join RBI as a Grade B officer. So good luck to me.

One of the best government Engineering college of odisha. It's suggested by one of my seniors. You need to score a good rank in jee exam to get admission in this College. In August 2018 I got admit to this college.

This is situated near the state capital unlike other colleges that are situated far from cities, so one can avail many ither facilities most importantly the CAT and GATE coaching. The placement is quite better thant other regional govt. Engineering colleges. The campus is large but not yet developed fully. The boys hostels could only accomodate half of those who apply for it. The faculty, teaching and laboratories are with par to other institutions. The college is autonomous.Yet it is not comparable to the NITs and IITs, which are far better than it.The admission is simple and all dates and processes can be found in the college website cet.edu.in.The in-campus placement places as much as 40% of all engineers which continues throughout the year with pacakages varying from as low as 4.5lpa to as high as 26lpa.

After 6th sem people are eligible for placements. Highest pacjage for previous year was 42 lakhs and 100% placements are offered.

Placements come throughout the 4th year. The CSE and IT companies provide a lot of better packages and job placements than the core ones. But there are good core companies like Godrej, Tata, Maruti Suzuki that offer good packages. Sadly only 30-40%students get placed in the in-campus placements. I will prefer to do m.tech after getting the degree. The average package is around 7 lakhs while last year the highest package was around 22 lakhs.

Engineering have better placement . After msc you can go for net gate or other competitive exam. In term of placement after msc tcs and some other it companies hire physics students

The best thing about the college is of it's best placement. Also the faculty and lab facilities are great. And as it is placed in the capital of Odisha, it is easy for transportation. The environment and the hostel is study friendly.
