In vi semester students become eligible for internships and placements companies like infosys ,wipro , accenture, amazon etc last year amazon offered highest package in university of 44lpa my plan is to place in good company or startup
The faculties are highly educated and they have good experience in teaching and very friendly
I mostly liked was fee structure and the scholarship there providing for students

Dislikes

No i didn't write any entrance exams .they have done the admission process by only the cut off marks of 12th standard.there is no eligibility every one can join.fees structure they will give when you visit the college admission block.
Things i dislike in collage that is they will give attention only tamil students
I don't like the way of correction of answer sheet these done based on writing not on content

Our veltech

Likes

Here the student can have the freedom to do what ever he wants to do.
Here they encourage us to do some reaching and internship
And also we can choose our own goals which leads us to our sucess

Here syllabus curriculam is some kind of tight for us

Placements in our collage are good every person will get a job at the end of the final year . Nearly 95% of the students are placed every year . Average of 4lpa and and the highest is 44lpa. Every year we will get many companies like accenture, tcs,byjus,amazon,flipkartetc After graduating I would like to do my job

Vel Tech at it Peaks

Likes

collage placement was the best thing in the campus
library is also good with digitalized tech.
Play ground is good and available in hostel also

Dislikes

I don't like the heat in Chennai and around the collage
Some rooms will be bit old in A block as it was old block
Tamil language was initial barrier but then I got to learn it.

Placement Experience:

Vel Tech is best known for the college placements. almost every eligible student will be getting a chance for placement drives and max will be placed by EOD and even after completing the college, they will follow up.

An brief review of the veltech University

Likes

I like the hostel the most with good environment and the most important food
The freedom in the college provide but the management
The placement with an good couching from the 1st year onwards

Placement Experience:

From the end of the 3rd year, the college placement will start and the filtration is based on the cgpa of the university semester exams. The highest package in our college is 44 lpa and the starting of the package is 3.5 lpa.

Likes

I mostly liked was fee structure and the scholarship there providing for students
And the other thing I liked is their Hostel facilities.
The other thing is mostly liked is the food they provide in hostels.

Dislikes

It has a good infrastructure but they want to improve some more
Must want to update the class room infrastructure and introduce smart things in campus.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good at the university. In 3rd year 2nd semester you can be eligible for placements. There are more than 500 companies are visiting the University every year, and more than 2500 offers are made. Least package is 3.5 LPA and the average package is 5 to 7 LPA and Highest package is 44 LPA, and 50 to 60 per cent of students get placement offers. My plan after getting the Degree is to go for higher studies abroad.

Placement Experience:

In the 5th sem of the third year, students become eligible for placements and internships. TCS - 3.5 LPA ACCENTURE - 4 LPA COGNIZANT - 5 LPA CAPGEMINI - 6 LPA BYJUS - 3 LPA Avg package is TCS and the highest package is Cognizant. 85% of student placements are assured in Veltech.

My Honest Review on Vel Tech University

Campus, Holidays, Classrooms, Library, Mathematics course.

Dislikes

Teaching, Record correction, partiality.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible to attend campus placements. Companies visited - TATA Elxsi, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, and many more. Highest package - amazon company 25LPA. Lowest package offers - up to 2.5LPA. Average Package - 4LPA. 90-94% of students got placed. I am doing higher studies currently.

ECE in Vel Tech

I have liked the fee structure which is better from many other universities and campus placements are not really bad but decent.We have a option to choose our own subjects which is pretty good and remaining things are same as other colleges
We had a good communication and good conversation with our faculty
We have a good option like choosing the faculty in our own as it is a good criteria

Dislikes

The placements are decent but they don't allow us after we get a job offer which is a major drawback
We have midterm and Unit test exams which are very frequent
The hostel Life is below average and some improvement is needed

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in Electronics and Communication Engineering and opted for the course. The faculty was decent and some improvement is needed in some courses as they don't have much knowledge of the core ECE. We have mid-term exams twice a month. The teaching is overall above average to good.

I have a few friends from Vel Tech University and according to them, it is a decent college with affordable course fees. A B.E from Val Tech will cost you around 2 lakhs.

Mainly IT companies visit the college campus to recruit students from IT, CSE, EEE branches. So, you will get decent placement opportunities. You will be placed if your aptitude and spoken English are good.

According to the recent placement highlights, around 90% of students are placed. The highest package last year was 12 LPA. The college has a placement cell that invites a number of companies. Some of the major recruiters visiting the campus placements are Google, Capgemini, Amazon, Vivo, etc.

Career guidance programs are conducted twice a week. Some highly skilled professors are allocated for teaching online exams which are conducted under the guidance of the smart teaching staff.
