8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

Government Engineering College Kozhikode

Likes

The seniors are very helpful. They are very friendly.
The college has a great vibe. It is very refreshing.
The faculties are very helpfu and the libraries have a vast collection of books.

Dislikes

The canteen food is average. Neither good nor bad.
We don't have a dedicated ground to organize sports events.
Since the construction for a new block is occuring, it is a little noisy

Applied electronics and instrumentation has a good record for placements. The number of graduates who got placement is more in Applied electronics and instrumentation than any othe course in Government Engineering college Kozhikode.

Supportive environment. Various clubs available for extracurricular activities
Cultural fest is very nice. The union conducts good events freshers
Faculty is good . Very understanding and supportive

Dislikes

Not very good communication. Notice should be sent earlier
Exams are very tough. Evaluation is also very strict

The curriculum is pretty average and not very up to date. Timely exams are conducted.the difficultly is medium.The teaching method can be improved more practical knowledge and skill can be included.great support for other academic pursuits

The freedom provided for children to avail and explore the campus infrastructure
The permissions granted for conducting various events

The size of the campus is extremely small as compared to other colleges
The extremely tight exam schedules and pressure on students to perform academically

Campus placements are provided adequately in the college. The campus placement facility of the college are provided for the third year students. The highest packages offered was 12 lakh per annum and lowest was 3 lakh per annum according to my knowledge

Likes

The Faculty and the non teaching staffs are very friendly
The Canteen food is very cheap and affordable
The Classrooms give a nostalgic feel about your college

Dislikes

There is no ground for playing in the college
Lot of politics in the college , many political parties
Lack of cleanliness in the college and bad maintenance of labs

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of KTU university is very tough . But it is still crackable with help of the faculties present in this college. The teaching methods used by the staffs are very helpful.One should experience it to know more about it.

good food and there are 2 canteens and very cheap
very nice envirnment and very calm surrounding

classes are bad very dirty dusty and not very clean
dome teachers are very bad at teaching and not good
the fact that there is only one break in a day

very good teaching and study materials provided helping us to pass the the semster exams and good relevance since our knowledge is increseing and also library adds up a great value to us it is very big

Engineering at ASET

Likes

The campus is filled with greenery so I like the fresh air and atmosphere.
I like how most of the faculty are young and get along with students.
The infrastructure is good and necessary equipment are present.

Dislikes

In engineering there are more boys than girls
No phones allowed to use during classroom
The journey to college is bit time consuming as the college is inside a big campus

Placement Experience:

There are placements in our college. All the placements are not directly from our college. The placement officer will provide us details of walk in interviews and other details necessary to get the students maximum placement opportunities. If you have good marks there is a good chance of you getting placed. Not sure of the packages , but I think it's around 3-5 lpa. It can go upto 6 lpa i think.

They focus both academics and promote extra curricular activities
Teachers are quite good in teaching with their good interaction with students

Dislikes

Lack of public transport we should on always use college bus
Students parking area is poor so that can improved maybe it will be improve in coming days

Placements in this college is average as compared to other colleges company they come for campus selection like tcs , infosys , sperdian etc.In my point of view staffs help to get placement with their 100% assistance we can get good guidance for off campus selection also if you have a good skills and logical thinking so can get placement in the college

Good Comprehensive fee structure and review on college for the upcoming generation to look into and consider the college

Teaching methodology is made clear and available with lesson plan
Social interaction is really good in here and everyone mingles
Good study atmosphere and calmness can be felt in every corner of the campus

Dislikes

Not clean and proper sanitation is not available
The bathroom facilities are poor and not very clean
The drinking water and medical facilitues are very poor

The curriculum is very well organized and planned . Its a bit tough to get adjusted to it after completing school and since here the time duration is less we have to start from beginning itself to work
