8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

My college experience

Likes

I like the canteen very much the food and aunty are good
Class room and toilet are cleaned and fresh
Friends are same vibe and super helping and they also teach us

Dislikes

Campus infrastructure is very poor and I hate that
Some teachers are very rude some only others are ok

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision of course is little bit disappointed because most peoples from computer science department are placed compared to our course and lot of students from my class are also working to IT field so I think my decision to choose this is not at all good this made me regret I am still searching for job

The environment around the collage it's nature
The faculty are friendly and very cooperative
Have various clubs which help us to increase our skills

Dislikes

The average salary package of placement is less

Placement Experience:

The placement offer is quite nice and will be almost assured of you are in any clubs.Ths main company that offers placement is TCS , Infosys etc.After 6th semester students prepare for campus placement.

Student friendly faculties are the main pro of this institution
Overall infrastructure is good but also have to maintain it properly
Good class rooms , grounds and other court

Dislikes

College timing need to be changed as it creates chaos to get on bus.college buses are too expensive.
Poor event organization and poor approach of students in these events
Placement percentage is average need to be improved

Third year student and fourth years students who cleared all supply can participate in placement.TOS Other tech based companies have conducted placement in campus.10 percentage get placed in companies

My College Journey

Likes

College enviornment is very good for studying.
Staff are good and provide support at every time.
Labs are fully equppied to gain hands - on experience.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good and provide opportunity for to recruting company like TCS,UST, Safran.Students are eligible from 9th semester and placement cell actively connect students with student.Around 85-95% students are palced from campus.

My experience

Likes

Most of The faculties and staffs are very friendly and supporting.
To till this day I haven't seen or experience any ragging
The campus and classroom is filled with security cameras, so all the areas are covered and inspected for any unusual activities

Dislikes

They mentioned scholarships during admission but there were no updates before the scholarship enrollment period
The programs conducted on the college is so limited , that majority of the students are going to other colleges for programs
The internships are considerably low . For few years there were internships conducted of the college everyday at afternoon sessions but it's completely stopped now

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 onwards there are campus placements and interviews. But the placements are very low compared to pther colleges. Only 10 to 20% gets the placements. The average packages for students is 2 lakh per annum

My College

Likes

As it is a govt. College we have enough freedom to roam around.
We have a good canteen and nice places to sit and talk
Students have their say in almost everything that we the students are involved

Dislikes

The campus lacks enough area to be a college campus
These four years, college has been under construction works. So definitely some kind of noise and air pollution.
Boys hostels arent provided but they have girls hostels.

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards we will be having placement drives. Average package offered by companies are quite low compared to CET, almost around 4lakhs per annum in an average. Almost 50% of students are always getting placed.

Placement Experience:

We get eligible for campus placement from Semester 6. I currently do not have the whole details of the companies that had visited the college. The highest package according to my knowledge is 24lpa. My plan after getting the degree is to be self-sufficient and start a company.

One of the best college with friends what i have got

First of all i am new to this part that is ernakulam,i wanted to study in a college awailing hostel so i did opt for a college in the next district yes i do find my college really interesting and based on appearance it is really presentable
I do study in scms school of engineering and technology,ernakulam. Here we have our hostels inside the college so i find it safe for the girls here and we have our canteen inside our college so it is really easy for us for food supplies.
We have a good library were we have wifi and a good readable and reference book . We can visit the library and get the books we want to stufy . One of the positive point is that our hostel has a separate stufy area.

Dislikes

Things disliked is that the cleanliness in hostel is not really good especially the bathrooms because i do find it not usable but its kind of clean but not really clean enough . We don’t have proper wifi system for all the rooms
The college doesn’t support girls and boys sitting together idk y this generation have such thoughts
The college doesnt have any kind of programs or fests its only a study area

Placement Experience:

We do have placement training in all the semesters to train the students by the end of 4th year. I find it really intresting because it helps to improve our interative skills. Yes we do have good placements here most of our seniors got placed in good companies with a good amount being paid.

College provide a great learning atmosphere
Has many clubs including technical, cultural, social etc
Fest and cultural events are fabulous and fun

Placement Experience:

Students having a cgpa above 7.5 are now eligible for campus placements, tata, quest, inapp, wipro, oracle, tcs, accenture, Infosys etc companies come for recruiting, average package is around 6-8Lakhs and higest is 12-34 lakhs

Our college is looking damn beautiful with it's ambience and cleanliness. It includes a great greenery and natural beauty which enhances the freshness of our mind
The faculties are so good as they give as the freedom to speak freely and clear our doubts
Our college provide both technical and cultural events which brings the abilities of students to another level

Dislikes

Our syllabus need to change as it needs to change to more job related

The students are eligible for sitting for a college placement during 4th year that is 7th semester onwards .Many companies will visit our colleges and so many students get placed through campus placement. The companies will provide a package of about 400000 per annum .Almost 80 percentage students will get placed after completing the course. My plan is to appear for placement interviews and also i have a plan to do MBA
