8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

All about my collage

Likes

The collage campus is good . If they can increase some area to students activities.
The faculties are from top collages like iit and others collage . They all have phd in their core subjects and their also good and conceptual.
Our collage Have good placements in companies like L&T , tata industries , reliance industries and othe top companies.

Dislikes

Our college don’t have a football playground and other playground
We don’t have supportive management for sports and arts

Placement Experience:

We have quite good placement in last year according to students skills and cgpa . Our collage offering placement in companies like L&T , Tata industries,reliance industries, adani refineries, vmware , tek systems etc with annual packages of average of 6 lakh .

Quality of education actually is very good
The faculties are highly professional and highly educated
The college has a large library which offers us a wide variety of books

Dislikes

The college is in a remote location little bit hard for people to reach out
Some of the non teaching staff are quite rude
Everything happens in a rushed timetable

Our college has a very strong placement system that offers us a lot of varieties of jobs . Every year lots of students gets placed in various companies. Very large number of national and international companies come to the college every year. Both hardware and software companies

The college infrastructure is awesome.The ambience of college is always good for students to concentrate on their studies.
The programs held in our colleges is always grand and awesome programs
Management always supports the sports activities of students.

Dislikes

Some maintanence work in buildings is required.
Allowing staffs to drive vehicles inside the campus.
Some college rules are very wierd.Always check on through CCTV camera.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is outdated from real world. Old sytems of automobile technology is in our syllabus.Upadation of syllabus is required. Make students more aware about the real world technology.The teaching method has to be changed. Reduce theory and add more lab sessions.

Navigating the Journey: A Glimpse into College Life

Likes

Climate and environmental conditions suitable for peaceful mind .
Library with wife range of variety of books .
Nowadays , perfect functioning of placement cell

Dislikes

Teaching is not much appreciable. Students have to study and prepare individually for must exams.
Labs are just starting to function rather note adequate
Transportation facilities are note appreciable.

Placement Experience:

From semester 7 the students will be eligible for campus placements . But each semester 7 does not means that everyone can goes through placement. Each company has an eligibility criteria and it needs to be satisfied by the candidates. College provides required placement trainings . In taking specific scenario of electronics and communication, LARSEN AND TURBO (L&T) , UST , 6D technologies, Algomax etc . The package offered can he varied. The highest package offered can be nearly 6 or 8 lakhs per annum . But it is rarely seen . Placement of students getting placed from ECE is very less as compared to that of CSE students. My plan is to get qualified in GATE examination and pursue Mtech from highly reputed colleges like NITs or IITs or deviate completly to research area.

I like the infrastructure of the college.it have a good ventilation system and sunlight is getting inside the classroom every time.
The scenic beauty of the college is another plus point.the college is faced towards a lake with clean water and all.thenevenings on the banks of the lake give you refreshing atmosphere
The computer labs are very well maintained and having lots of computers.every one can use the computer accordingly.includes free wifi at every time and it is very useful for the project making and all

Dislikes

The road towards the college is not that much good.it is like a rollercoaster ride to reach the college
The class room timing of the college is very much lengthy and it needs to be shorten.it is almost 8 hours a day listening to lecture and all.
The clubs in the college is not very active and not performing well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is not up to date.the college follow the curriculum provided by the apj abdul kalam technological University kerala for their academics.but it is not updated version.it is to be updated thoroughly and it will increase the students level and make them a good professional.

Likes

The campus atmosphere is very nice so that we can relax
The faculties are well trained and have very good subject knowledge
The labs are well equipped with modern technologies that can be used by students

Dislikes

The campus itself is small as compared to other collages
The collage itself doesn't have collage ground
The collage doesn't have a clean bathroom facility for boys

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is eligible after the 6th sem. Many companies visit our collage for placement related things some of the companies are Tata, tcs, L&T, reliance etc . The students with high CGPA are eligible for placemnts at collage.

Talking about positive things the thing that comes to my mind is the good friends that I made during these days it is very wonderful
The next thing is the facultys suport that I got and good sports facilities and different types of clubs that were good to me
Another one is the academic I come to know so much subjects like python life skill development profetional communication the helped in in life very much

Dislikes

There is no government boys hostel so the majority of the boys are living in pgstudents
The campus itself is so small as compared to other collages

Currently iam studying in first year so I don't got any placement or intership but college provide good and quality intership and placement facilities like tata walkaro texa lnt tcs birla industries Ltd there are so many students that are placed

about my college journey i had in IIET ERANAKULAM

first of all the about Ambians of this college is excellent and friendly teachers and friendly seniors , no ragging ,best canteen with affordable.
student ratio also good and girls and boys are have average equal strength ,free wifi and greeny campus.
And uniforms have good standard, and eco friendly campus.

Dislikes

it is about our affiliated university ,it named as APJ Abdul Kalam university of technology trivandrum , thier main focus is that they want to earn more by students.And high expensive semester exam fees schedule.
in this campus there are arts department and engineering department also and in arts department they providing so much Programmes at all but not in engineering department.

Placement Experience:

placememnts of our college is that there not should be arrears or backlogs in 7 th semester the companies that linked with our college are 1, infosys 2,tata 3,microsoft and highest paid is 560000/annum and average packge is 140000/annum and 21% students getting placements each year and my plans after degree is going to work in another country like US ,canada, saudhi arabia.

A brief introduction of GECK

Likes

I really liked the infrastructure of the college as it has a big library and labs
The sports committee at my college is really good as they organise regular events and competitions.
There are regular fests at our college that give students a lot of opportunities.

Dislikes

This colloge has a small football ground so we have to adjust with all the players
The campus is a bit congested as the college has less area
The water coolers at our college sometimes doesn't work due to some malfunction

Placement Experience:

The placements at college are pretty decent. I think the students become eligible for placement from 4th year onwards. The highest package from our college last year was around 10 lakhs per annum by a student from electronics and Communications department. Some of the top companies that visit our college for recruitment are TCS and L&T. The average package at our college is around 4 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students that get placed from our college is around 40% I also plan to get placed from college placement itself and I will try my level best for it.

Likes

The campus has a good atmosphere for studying and relaxing
The canteen us well equipped with good food
The library is aaccesible for everyone and is updated from time to time

Dislikes

The area of the campus is quite small as compared to other collages
The Bathroom facilities for boys is some what bad
There is no collage ground for sports activities

Placement Experience:

The campus placement process starts at the 7th sem of the 4year course.Some of the companies that came here are TATA,L&T, TCS,Reliance etc. and have an average salary package of 3lakh to 5 lakh per annum
