8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

college life is good and the quality of teaching is also good
good faculty expertise and mentorship quality
course curriculum is better and it provide more knowledge

Dislikes

infrastructure is good but it have some negatives also

currently placement of my college is good and they provide more opportunities vedam design ,arise ,infosys,etc companues are visited for our college placement for 7.5 cgpa and more is getting placement

GOVT MODEL ENGINEERING COLLEGE REVIEW

The college provides great facilities in very high tech labs like fab lab , idea lab which includes 3D printing and many advanced technologies
The college also provides one of the best placements in kerala and also have a very supportive placement cell
Faculties are very much supportive in studies and also exyra curricular activities

Dislikes

The campus size compartively very small and is not large compared to other govt colleges
Also the sports facilities are not that good. We dont have a very well maintained football ground . Also the facilities and support for sports in the college is low
Also programs and fests are very low. We dont have many programs in the college we should strain on our own to conduct some programs

Placement Experience:

Almost all students who passout is placed in a company . Here placements are very high and almost 100% placements are offered . The companies that visited the college are Technology and IT Services: Infosys, TCS, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Cognizant, Oracle, Deloitte, and Tata Motors. Software and Internet Services: Adobe, Redbus, and Ansys. Professional Services and Analytics: Deloitte and EY. Electronics and EDA: Synopsys. Life at GEC KOZHIKODE

All the lab facilities are good and can be easily used by students
The teaching staff are all well qualified and has good subject knowledge
The campus environment is very good and have good canteen

Dislikes

The campus is small compared to other collages
The collage doesn't have a collage ground for sports activities.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities of my collage is some what ok we have placement opportunities from TATA, L&T, Reliance, Walkaro and many more companies whom came for placement cells. The average package a student can receive is about 5 lakh rupees. The students are eligible for campus selection in the 7th semester for their 8 semester course

Shaping Future : My Journey at SCMS??

Our campus was fully covered with trees, plants and all so we have getting enough peaceful environment there which I like the most.
Good Library : Our library providing variety of books for studying and there also middle of the library there was lot of bamboo trees which is quite different from other college libraries that's so good
Good Mentors: Our mentors are very well prepared for each sessions and they are very supportive to each and every students like they are always there to help us for both academic and social events

Dislikes

Transportation facility: Since our college is situated in a village one of the major challenge is the Transportation facility. The availability of public transport is scarce making it difficult for students to commute to and from college
Limited placements for departments other than CSE. As we go through the placement brochures we can see that the college is always providing software companie's placements for the departments other that CSE. That may be a thing which I don't like
Lack of extra curricular activities: As this is a private college there is only less amount of extra curricular activities for the students which is not so good as only this time we can enjoy right so that's it

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year (5th,6th sem) most probably 6th sem onwards students become eligible for Campus placements. Some of the top companies have visited in our campus include TCS, Infosys, Accenture,Ultratech, Cognizant and others too. Exact number of offers made for one student can vary depending upon the student's performance. Package may vary depending upon the company and profile, but it is around 6LPA and the average pack is around 2-3LPA. Placement percentage may vary depending upon the department as there is more no of CSE Students more than 60% of students is placed form CSE department.

My college is offering so many placement . After 8 semester one could get placements.i don't know the name of the companies visited as I am a newbie. Almost 80 percent of students get placement my plan is to get job on kseb or work with my family

The college campus is very good and clean with much facilities. the faculty is very friendly and helpful
The college sports and cultural activities are also good
Separate blocks for every department and huge library and seminar halls

Dislikes

The classrooms still have black board (with some of them have smart boards too )

The placements are offered by the college Top companies like - INFOSYS AMAZON GOOGLE ORACLE TCS WIPRO TECH MAHINDRA these are just small sample and much more companies come for campus placements. the package are also good the package varies on the student and company the small packages like 3 to 4 lakhs are also there then there are companies hiring at 12 lakhs also

my Life at Government Engineering College Kozhikode

I like the fact that my college despite being small compared to others government engineering colleges does not compromise in any aspects. We are ahead in every competitions and events
I really like the sports department in our college. They are really helpful and supportive and they regularly organise competitions
I really liked the laboratories in my college. They are really good and staff teachers are always available if any guidance is required

Dislikes

Our college is located between a town therefore the campus area is very small compared to other colleges.
My college has a very small football ground and cannot be used for organising a proper match
Our college infrastructure is really small and congested. The buildings are really close to eachother.

Placement Experience:

Although the placements at my college is not as high compared to other top collages, still it is pretty decent. Students become eligible for placement after seventh semester onwards. Many companies visit our college for placements like TCS L&T etc and mostly that recruit students without fail Highest package that we got last year was 100000 rs by a student from electronics and communication department The average package at our college is around 4 lakhs per annum The percentage of students who got placed from last year's batch were around 40% After completion of my degree i am planning to get placed at companies like nvidia or Google

The infrastructure of the college is very good comparing other colleges.have good ventilation and have proper facility for each students.provides water facility with purification system
The visual beauty of the college premise is awesome.its a lake view college.
Have a lot of computers to work on with free wifi

Dislikes

No space for indoor games is a serback for some students
Timing of the college is till 4.30 pm.it is little bit overtimed
The shop for photostat taking and binding works not working properly

From the 7th semester itself most of the students will get placed in companies.the companies like wipro,tcs, Infosys are the main recruiter in the college.an average of 5 lpa is given.the highest package is 56lpa and highest is 2.4 lpa.almost 90% of the students got placed

a setup collage

this collage provids good placemnet for students
there is no raging in this collage that is an advantage
good amount of computers are avalible and other equipments needed for atudying

Dislikes

some furnitures are poor i would say most of them are broken
poor toilet facilities and hand washing facility limited oipes maybe 2 in a floor for more tban 3-4 classes
extra carucular falilitues are very poor football grounds are very small and other grounds also poor gym

Placement Experience:

people say there is good placement in this collage but last year 2024 it was 9lpa which was the highest of that year but low comparitively means placments can be sure but ihigh pacakge is something that acnnnit be prommised but i would placemnst is good
