8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

Likes

The campus is very clean and well maintained
The canteen food is also very good and safe
The ground is very big and has various spaces for different sports

Dislikes

The teaching is generally very fast and not understandable
The freedom that students get is very little
The college is very strict comparing to other colleges in area

Course Curriculum Overview:

The time gap between the 3 exams are very less. The areas of improvement is that the teachers must slow down their pace of teaching and give their students the time to catch up and they should not give them much pressure

Likes

The college have much experienced faculties.
Have library with wide range books and we can lend it
Eco friendly campus and extra curicular acivities

Dislikes

Do not have acesses to the premium e jornals
The college do not have proper uniforms other than lab uniform
The no ofcollege buses not according tothe strengtth of students

Placement Experience:

This college provide better placement opportunities compared to other engineering colleges in kerala. In Btetech more than 80 percentage student getting placement. Almost all reputed companies are visit CET for placement.

Vimal Jyothi is good college

Likes

There is no ragging and other attacks against students.
Pleasant atmosphere and peaceful nature can be enjoy.
Excellent and highly qualified facualities with friendly behaviour.

Dislikes

Strict rules are applied against first year students.
Less non academic programs are conducted by college.

Placement Experience:

Our college have a good placement cell and it is active at all time. Many companies like Amazon, TCS, Flipkart, Federal Bank and other Benglure, Chennai based IT companies. Those who have no supplies in entire semester exam are eligible for appearing campus placement interview. The average salary is 4.5 lac per year. Almost 60 to 65 percentage placements are providing by college.

A review about life in CET, as an Mtech structural engineering student

Likes

Active campus and lot of programs for freshers also to showcase their talents
Good library with a lot of books and time upto 9:00 pm is available
Teachers are very sincere and taking a lot of efforts

Dislikes

Food is not so good, especially lunch. Breakfast is nice in canteen but lunch is not
Only one ladies hostel, so only a few get accommodated. Paying guest around the college seems to be bit expensive
No breaks between period. only a single break is allotted,that is at the lunch time

Placement Experience:

In first semester so far no placement for structural engineering had came. Basically for Mtech placement is less compared to Btech. And especially for civil Engineering streams it's too less. College is saying many companies will visit in coming days. In Btech in other streams like CS,EEE most of them are placed when it comes to civil it's less to get placed in core companies. In Mtech only a few get placed in core companies. My aim is to get placed in any company. Preference is a core company but it's ok if get any other companies also

A college with good memories

Likes

Very good teacher and good teaching and beautiful class
Very good friend and nice company to evertyone
Good college give importance to sports etc

Dislikes

Very big college so difficult to find friends
Very long distance from my home and it will take 1hr
Not clean campus and very disappointing in college

There are so many modules in electronics and instrumentation stream it is really compared to electronics and communication engineering courses Instrumentation is also known as automation in robotics etc

One of the best Collage for Engineering

Likes

I liked the facilities of the collage there are new items too
The campus is not that big there isn’t much to see
The teacher and the staffs are great we will be able to understand easily

Dislikes

Not a big campus there aren’t anything interesting
The bus are a little small most of the bus students have to stand

The placement is going well inn our collage ithe only select the best students of that year and give placement they should be beat in academics and also in the project works too they should also do internships

College ambiance is so great.more space for students
Good food in canteen and great staffs are there
Bus service is also so good and comfortable

Dislikes

Lack of students cause more students more like a class
Lack of celebration.like college is the final studies still not celebrating things
Very very strict never consider that we are a college student

Our college have active placement cell. As an autonomous college there is a rule which that , those College's are autonomous they should provide minimum 50 percentage placements to their students. However my college have 60 to 65 placements are occurring. The average salary is 4.5 lac per year.

The ambience and vibe of college is great
The labs or the many facilities are very great
Toilets are very hygienic and clean most of all it's good

Dislikes

Parking of the college too dense they should have more parking space
Cold water facilities and water purifier won't work on time
Canteen food is sometimes good and sometimes very bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a crazy about computers,codes and many more that's why I like more computer related course and some good coding skills are necessary if you plan to move along the course.the time period of exam are very short if an exam pass by and next exam would be happening the coming 2nd week it's very hard to improve in that short period

Small campus nothing to explore and situated in small town.
Too tight schedule to handle for a student.
No much programs are conducted by the college.

Good college placements are there. Many good companies reffer our college and many of our aluminies are working in good positions over many good companies and someof them are owning some good companies.
