8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

Campus Facilities:The campus is well-maintained, with good infrastructure.
The library is excellent, with a wide range of books, journals, and e-resources.
FISAT provides decent placement opportunities, especially for branches like CSE and ECE. Core branches like EIE have fewer options, but internships and skill-based courses help.

Dislikes

Location: Being slightly away from the city, commuting can be a challenge for day scholars
Rules: The college has a reputation for being strict, especially regarding attendance and hostel timings, which some students find restrictive.
Practical Exposure: While labs are good, more industrial visits or collaborations with industries could enhance real-world exposure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course in FISAT is good but a little hard. It has many subjects to study, and some are very interesting. For EIE, we learn about circuits, machines, sensors, and how things work. It is useful if you like to make or fix machines. But some topics are very old and not used much now. They should teach more new things like robotics or new technology. The subjects are big and have too much to study sometimes. But it also has practical work in labs, which is fun and helps to understand better. The course is good for getting knowledge, but some parts feel not very needed. If you work hard and like the subjects, you can learn a lot. But they should add more new things to make it better for jobs.

Likes

The major highlight of the campus is the environment friendly neighbourhood which was covered with trees.
There is alos well maintained campus library with high tech facilities.
The teachers were all experinced in their fields.

Dislikes

The labs could be improved more in the availability of desktops.
There are pricey snackbars than the normal rate which can be afforded.
There is no proper ventilation system with humid atmosphere.

Placement Experience:

There are placements in our college with package from around 3- 4 lakh per annum .The companies mainly visiting include UST global, Tech mahindra , TCS etc.My plan after getting degree is to go for higher studies.

College is good. Good faculties good infrastructure and many more details so it is very good experience to be here as a student i leke everything in my college best technical stalls and canteen good faculties hods are awesome and everything is good
Good tech fest other fest top in south india and kerala
Good everything and labs and machines good student teacher connection

Dislikes

Bad toilets dogs in college high fees some faculties behaviour is very bad
Very thing is good except some area of the college

Placement Experience:

Here are good placement opportunity. Many students got placement here many core companies will come here and we got places companies like mrf, TATA, TCL, and many more companies come here so these are the main companies here. 32 LPA was the top placed here.

One of The best placement cell in India, top companies hire from our college.
The campus, so peaceful and enjoyable campus lifestyle.

Placement Experience:

There are a great opportunity to get placements from our college. Placements starts from 6-7 semesters of the course. Indian and international companies hire inters from our college with high packages.

The faculty support.The way they calculate each student’s caliber and take necessary methods for making them understand.
The indoor stadium.which consists of a tennis court,cricket turf,and gym equipments
The campus and its nearby places are very calming and peaceful

Dislikes

Its a bit long and inside but you might never regret it
Trees are bit short which infact increases heavy sunlight

Placement Experience:

The eligibility checking for campus placements occur on 7-8 sem that is in the 4th year.The companies which make offers increase day by day which in help of our principal and his managing skills.100% placement is offered by the college in which the number of reputed companies increase in a significant percentage.

We can experience the campus life at its fullest as it provides all the necessary activities
The teachers and other faculty members are verry nice and helpfull nice
Since the college is autonomous, it has its own advantage

Course Curriculum Overview:

The one of the main reasons for me to choose this course is that it has a very few students. Unlike other courses which has over 3 lack students from each state, this course has only is 16. This is because, in my state it, this is the only college this course is available. The other colleges that has this course are NIT and IIT.

The seniors are friendly and helps us understand about the college and course
The teachers are friendly and makes us understand the topic whuch they are taking before proceeding to the next

The breaks are short and it is not enough in my opinion

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students get eligible for campus placements. I do not know which companies visit as i have only joined this year but as what i know from the seniors the companies are looking for students with skills over marks. The average package offered is 100000-200000 per year and more than 10 companies visit per year. About 80 percentage of students are getting placed though campus placement. My plans after getting the degree is to find a job outside of india if i can

A brief overview of my 1 year experience in MDIT

The collage is situated on top of a hill with beautiful view and a nice atmosphere.
Everyone from the non working staffs to the teachers are very friendly and supportive.
Since M Dasan Institute also has a polytechnic and an arts collage there are more than enough facilities for everyone

Dislikes

The collage is situated in a rather remote location so only less people know about the collage
Since the collage is on top of a hill it rather contributes to a moody atmosphere making you feel drowsy
The collage is not well known among other collages in Kozhikode so the amount of students are comparatively low.

I choose this course since I love machines and was intrested in learning how they work.The course curriculum is kinda outdated but the collage isn't supposed to be blamed for it but rather our university which is KTU. It emphasizes more on theory rather than the actual problem solving skills which are required for the industries and real life. They could implement more real life and industry based aspects to the curriculum. Most students aren't industry ready once they pass out of ktu this is because the curriculum isnt apt. That is why they have to spend another 6 to 8 months in a company as a trainee to understand and grasp the basic knowledge required in an industry

Students become eligible for placements from the fifth semester.We will be getting training.Companies like Wipro, Infosys,Sap and lots more visited our college.The seats they are offering is less comaperd to the student ratio. Highest package offered is 12LPA and average is 5LPA.

A WALKTHROUGH OF LEARNING AND GROWTH IN MY COLLEGE

Engaging Campus Life The campus was vibrant with re regular cultural events , fest sand technical workshops allowing studnets to showcase talents and network
The profeesors were good, with many holding good degrees or experience they were very well guiding and i liked being taught by them
The campus was equipped with modern facilities including smart classrooms high speed internet and well managed libraries

Dislikes

Hope teachers teach students in english medium rather than malyalam
With changing technologies its important to change the curriculunm
We can focus on improving communication skills in the curriculum

Placement from this college is good and almost ist very good for the cse branch students from 7th semester are eligible almost more than 120 companies visit highest package is 34ctc average is 3.5ctc 95 percent students gets placed i am preparing for indian armed forces
