8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

My college

Likes

The college is approved by AICTE.They offer's 6 different course
They provide government hostel with food and accommodation with wifi
They provide scholarship for students that reduce tution fees

Dislikes

Transportation facilities is very bad .we can't reach there 8 pm after
The area is very rural there is no hotel in holidays
There some water issues some times ther is no water in college

Placement Experience:

In seventh semester students become eligible for campus placements.In My department mainly 4 companies are visited and there are 12 offers made .The highest package was 7 lak per year and lowest was 2 lak per year.20%students placed in my department

They provide us with good placement training from Semester 4 onwards.The placements starts from Semester 6.The seniors are also very nice and are ready to help us out.
Our cultural fest BRAHMA is one of the best national event.Many technical events and workshops are held frequently apart from academics.
The campus has a good infrastructure. Most teachers are friendly while some can be annoying.

Dislikes

The hostels are strict towards girls while its very relaxed at the boys hostel.
Class timings are too long that's from 8:50 am to 4:00pm.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from Semester 6 onwards. All the major companies like TCS and Infosys come for placements. Students get atleast an average of 2 offers. Highest package is about 10-12 lakh and lowest is about 2 lakh. Mostly about 30 percentage of the students gets placed and others go for higher studies. I am planning to get masters after finishing this degree.

Good for social life but very minimal infrastructure and facilities

I liked the fact that since the number if students per branch and the total no. of students in the college are very small , everyone knows everyone
Each student can be proactive in their college life since there are a lot of clubs tailored to fit the interest of each and evey student like NSS club , Music club , automobile club and lots more
The fact that the college is not very strict is good for the students

Dislikes

The infrastructure in the school for sports is very poor and the available courts and equipments are ill maintained
The library in the school has mostly the academic related books and other books of specific topics are not available in the library
The canteen facilities in the college is restricted to just a small building and does not provide anything other than meals , snacks and hot beverages

Placement Experience:

Students get eligible for placements during their final year and can apply for internships from their 2nd year onwards . The lowest package offered was 6L p.a. abd the highest package was 12 L p.a. from mechanical and 52 L p.a. from CS Companies which cane for placements were Sobha constructions ,L&T , Adobe Ansys , Redbus etc for Mechanical

Likes

The teaching methods and style are top good
The collage faculty cooperation with students is improve the student skils
The collage infrastructure is good for sports and other events

Dislikes

The lab infrastructure of the collage is satisfactory
The projector are not allowed in some classes
The collage infrastructure at some times is not good for events

Course Curriculum Overview:

The study of each subjects in the carriculum prepares me for real world application.i wish the projector based teaching methods are improving for student helps they in improving skill.the exams are done at some period gap .so it don't kore difficult.

Dislikes

The attendance system . If class is not there still we have to came and put signature to get the attendance.
Purified water shortage is there in college
Too much fee is to pay for the sem. Sometimes it can't afford.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very helpful to the students. And it is very relevant to the real world application. But sometimes the sem time is too short and the exam dates reach very quickly Sometimes we can't get enough time to prepare for the exam.

Very good teachers and support to all studies and project work
Good atmosphere, campus is very easthetic
Campus provies all good facilities with library and others

Dislikes

Some time there were water connection issue
Canteen food is not good, they could not povide food as per their menue
Department library not workung at properly

Placement Experience:

There have lot of placement. But that are commen. But the placement based on our cource is very less. May its new course. But they are contact many companies related to our couse. But I hope in that placement.

Likes

Beautiful infrastructure with vast campus
Lab facilities and library is very useful
Many scholarships are available for students

Dislikes

Less vacancies are available for students in hostels
Less vehicle parking facilities for students
No proper waste management in college campus

Placement Experience:

There are a lot of placement opportunities in the college.There is a dedicated CGPU unit to manage placement opportunity for the students.Multi National Companies like Oracle,Amazon, cognizant etc hires students every year

Good campus facilities,Clean surroundings.
Plenty of space and calm environment for social programms
Expertised teaching faculties and resources

Dislikes

Too much distance between departments to walk by foot.
Too many areas kept unexploited inside campus.
Lack of drinking water facilities in buildings.

Placement Experience:

As i mentioned before this college has high rate of campus placements from all over the countries.And the facilites for conducting recruitments are of high quality.The facilities connects the students to the companies in well organized manner and support the students to prepare well through conducting various placement training programms.

MCET, a campus to be educated and to enjoy.

Likes

Faculties are qualified personals with good experience and skill on teaching. Teacher training programmes are also conducted for their development.
All staff working in the college are very much caring and friendly.
College has different buildings for different departments and also has many labs for studying.

Dislikes

Campus is a bit too strict, but it is natural for a private college campus.
Number of entertainment programmes conducted and fund allowed for the same are very low.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are generally conducted on the 7th and 8th semesters of the course. Placements are generally low for civil engineering department but it's there. TCS, L&T, UST are some of the companies which conducts interviews. Average packages vary every year. It is approximately 4 LPA. About 20% of students get placed. I'll be going to pursue either B. Arch or M. Tech.

Likes

Good campus life and events to enjoy our college life.
Average placement offers with nice package
Hostel facilities are quite good comparing to other colleges

Dislikes

Hostel is little bit strict for the girls

From the 7th sem onwards students who have good cgpa are eligible for campus placements. So many seniors got placed in infosys and tcs. Each year out of 10 , 8 students get placed with good package. And can also apply for good jobs

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
