8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

Great for placements, Not so great for campus life.

Likes

Its location , It is situated at the heart of cochin city. Unlike other colleges it is easily accessible from the city,all means of transport are available from here.
Great social life. It is really easy to meet students of other classes and other years because of the small area of the college.

Dislikes

Area of the college is really small.There is not much place to hang around inside the college premises.
Not much emphasis on sports and arts programs

The placements here are great, if you are skilled you would get a very high paying job from here.Even if you are not that skilled,still you would get a decent job.The companies that visited include Deloitte, EY, Harman, Lenovo, Accenture, Air India.etc

MEC Thrikkakkara: Strong Academics and Placements, but Room for Infrastructure Growth

Likes

The college offers various workshops ,events and talks which really boosts motivation among students
Mec Thrikkakkara offers good placements for all batches.Also the staffs and students helps us in improving our skills through various clubs
The college is not very strict.This gives the opportunities to student learn and build skills.

Dislikes

The college lacks infrastructure which I found as a major drawback.
Besides workshops,There are no room for fun concerts or activities
We can't expect for a good college life around here besides developing our skills.

Placements are the main highlight of our college.Highest package offered this year was 52 lpa by D.E shaw &Co . Average package was around 8lpa. Almost all students from CSE and ECE were placed . Companies: Redbus, Deloitte,TCS,UST Global etcs. Students from sem 6-7 are eligible for placements.

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is top notch it include everything. You have Badminton courts, Basketball court, Football court, volleyball court,indoor games,gym facilities, walkways, cricket ground canteen facility, and more
The campus is engaging with a friendly seniors. The faculties at fisat are very experienced teachers and their classes are very engaging Also doubt clearing sessions are conducted and special care is given to those who finds thier studies difficult.
As said about the facilities the classrooms are also well equipped with basic needs and all the classrooms are smart classrooms. The laboratories are well equipped with the needed things. Priority is also given to nature as campus is full of trees .

Dislikes

There is nothing here that we dislike exept there is attendance every hour as it is in every other colleges yet it will grow on you once you started studying here.
The college as said it is situated in Ernakulam yet it is not situated in city . The college is little bit to interiors of the city but it is easily accessible through college buses or private buses and auto rickshaws

Placement Experience:

As I am studies are going on I don't know much about the placement. By hearing it from the seniors i can say that the placement are very good compare to other colleges that every student who have reasonable score can get placements in really good companies the company that comes to FISAT for placement are available in the official website of FISAT . The average placement offer at fista 4L per annum and above .

Almost good

Likes

Most of the faculty's are good.they really help as in our studies.
Good facilities like computer lab, different workshops,etc.
It's a ragging free campus.No issue faced based on ragging.

Dislikes

Other programs are not encouraged in collage like Christmas celebration.the only good program is onam celebration.
Other programs like tech fest,arts, sports are conducted yearly but not good as other collages.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My batch is following ktu scheme 2019 they have many topics that is relevant in computer science field but there is also many bulk course like chemistry, physics etc in first year.but our next batch is not under KTU hence there will be difference.

An honest insight my college experience and review

Likes

Placements provided by the college are good
internships provided by the college are good and helpfull
infrastructure and facultys are good enough

Dislikes

campus is not that big or wide which makes some discomfort
the syllabus is outdated which makes studying boring

The placements provided in the college is very good and has a good average lpa ,from 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements ,Many big mnc's come for placements in college including bosch ,air india etc.... almost all students get placed in the college

The infrastructer of the college is very good. Every course has its own department and a separated block of building.
The college has extra activities like Gym, sports(Football, Tennis, Badminton etc...) and a nice place relax(Garden)
The college has a good hostel which is separated for girls and boys

Dislikes

lakh of festivals means the college is only promotes education and placements

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement office which they will provide a on campus placement drive with a minimum package of 4 LPA and above. On campus placement includes main companies like IBM, Cognizant, TCS, Mitsogo, Qburst etc.... Students got best offers from UST, Visteon, Electrifex Technologies, Qburst, Experion, Qvantel, Heaxware, DeltaX, Xplor, Innovature, Indian Oil, Adani Group Pvt. Ltd., RDC Concrete (India) Pvt. Ltd., Aar Bee Structures Pvt Ltd, ZF Commercial Vehicle Control System, Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd, Unisis Engineering etc.. The number of offers in 2024 was about 250 persons. The highest package is 8 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA Percentage of student got placement is 80% My plan is to get a placement from the college.

FISAT has a very good placement status. It ranks among top 6 engineering colleges in Kerala. All the trainings provided is very effective and worthy. Almost all the students who are eligible for placements will be placed.
We have expert facilities like fablab and digital library. Our main Library is so huge and it's the best
Our college has a good sports history. We have all the sports team such as football,badminton,cricket,basket ball and volleyball

Dislikes

As it is a private college, u will not be independent in your decisions.
Attendances are mandatory and they will include our parents in all the Silly things
We lack faculties who gives exposure more than bookish learning. Most of the teachers have a mentality only to score marks

Placement Experience:

Campus placements starts from 7th semester. FISAT holds a very good placement status. It ranks among the top 6 colleges in Kerala. There are lots of companies coming which includes IBM,TCS, Schneider electric, cognizant, Accenture,tata elexsi,ey and many more. Offers ranges from 4 to 15 lpa. Companies like cadence offers 15 lpa which is the highest paid job offer. Almost 90 percent of the eligible students will get placed from the campus itself and we will get a lot of opportunities from college itself even after graduation.

FASCINATING OVERVIEW?

Likes

Including sports as part of the curriculum.
Each class have a average boys to girls ration of 4:3
Friendly faculties and friendly seniors. International clubs for improved internship.Placement councils and career guidanc.

Dislikes

Distance from hostel to college especially my was around 1km away from the college.
Traffic block around the campus makes it difficult in the evening to reach the campus .
Curfew for first years is 7pm which is not a lot of time considering some days you have classes upto 5'o clock

Placement Experience:

You are eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards and do internships with the partnering companies.Highest package ever offered is 34LPA which is great . As for now average is around 6LPA.

The course duration is 4 year and has 8 semester and we can have holidays Mainly this college is near my home so I choose it . And I got allotment in this college but I got 3rd allotment in scms college but I don't like to stay in hostel so I choose this college near my home

It's a green campus and more likely atmosphere

Moderately strict campus and very few programs

Placements are there in our college but it's not the good placement giving college we can get companies like Accenture, TCS, Mahindra,etc... but the problem is that only few are getting placed and in very low package
