The overall faculty of the fine arts department is satisfactorily good.
The seats are good in the class is a good strength projector good stuff there is people always helping each other.
To be honest amity university kolkata gives placement very well.

Dislikes

Food are not good and healthy sometime can cause food poisoning
Transportation could be problematic due to the college's location off the main route, leading delays and inconvenience for students commuting to and from campus.
The biggest con for the hostel student is they are not allowed to go out during weekdays. This becomes highly inconvenient in some situations and also during some emergency.

Amity University as my vission.

Likes

Our department is biotechnology so our faculty are too good and they teaching us so well.
Our labs are too good , we get good hans on training in there.
College campus is too good, neat and clean and also well infrastructure.

Dislikes

My home is too far so it would difficult for me to cover daily 1.5 hours journey.
Sometimes we feel washroom are not properly clean, but when we complaint they listen and solve our problems.
They take exam without any previous notice, syllabus is vast so it would problematic and they don't give any study leave.

Course Curriculum Overview:

After Bsc i choose Msc so I have so much interest in that course. We study so many subjects like molecular biology, recombinant dna technology, genetics, biochemistry, cell biology, spanish, microbiology so on. Among them my favourite topic is cancer biology. We did so many lab work that was helpful to understand the subject well. And that is very helpful because we have we infrastructure in laboratory so work there.

Infrastructure is quite good with all the facilities and free wifi
There are 3 canteens and all three provide good and affordable food within rs.50
There's no restrictions regarding outfit and you get a good exposure with lot of people and experiences

Dislikes

Attendance is way too strict and they don't allow to sit for end semester if you don't have 75% Attendance
Semester fees is a lot compared to other colleges and they take a good amount of fine if it's not payed within time
Most of the faculties are approachable and helpful and they also take regular practical classes but 1 or 2 of them are very casual and most of the students don't understand or learn which eventually becomes a problem in exam

Placement Experience:

Since I'm in first year I don't have much knowledge about the placements but they provide good placements but it would take time if you rely on college. 10k-30k is the average placements salary provided. Most of the students get placed from final year. But getting a decent salary after completing UG is a bit tricky but if you have good score then it won't be much of a problem but doing pg and phd is what I'll prefer for myself.

Sweet and bitter

The ambience and atmosphere is really peaceful
The library and empty slaves are great to have a solo time

Dislikes

The events or the chaotic concerts doesn't suit me

Well I chose this course cuz we are entering an era of technological advancement and to keep up with the world you gotta get yourself better with proficient skillset and I always had knack for computers too so that's why.

Infrastructure- Amity is famous for it's well decorated campus
Faculty- All the professors are top class
Guidance- Whenever you need guidance from professors and seniors they all are there for you always

Dislikes

Fees- If you compare with other colleges fees structure it's bit high than others
Placement- Somewhere Amity Kolkata couldn't give good placements to their BBA Marketing Students

Placement Experience:

Placement part of Amity for BBA Marketing wasn't good. Neither a good company came for placements but nor a good package was offered by the companies who came. Specially for marketing people amity didn't give any placement

Overview of a life as a Undergraduate Psychology student in Amity University

Likes

The quality of infrastructure, campus amenities like 24 hours supply of clean drinking water , full ac campus , good food quality in canteens . Also the library is beautiful
A lot of educational methods , aids , different teaching methods are used . Seminars , workshops , use of projectors etc.
Most of the teachers are highly qualified for their jobs

Dislikes

The attendance system is pretty problematic . It's not just the fact that student must complete 75% attendance per course . The classes per course could be 20-80 classes anything .
Student under 75% can only sit in exam with the maximum score of B grade even though he or she had genuine problem of not attending the classes
Too much assignments around exam time usually hamper our study experience before exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose applied psychology to learn deeply about human being , their feelings , pain , choice of life . Applied psychology prepare you for various worldly applications like practicing as a clinical psychologist, or organisational psychologist , criminal psychologists, etc . Psychology is all about understanding yourself and others and how to be a better citizen to others . It's not just a theoretical subject so I suggest to not use very old experimental methods which are irrelevant to this type and diversity but improve these assessments , tests , experimental methods etc .

Campus and the events/fests occur here,its management.
Faculty member teaches and explain every topic very nicely
The college is fully ragging free and theres no beef between seniors and juniors

Dislikes

The college fee is quite more it can be in a reasonable side also
Back to back the events are cancelling in our college idk the reason
Canteen food is not included in the hostel fee

The Course is very good and the college provides the best lab work activity and Teaches us the C programming and Coding.We do different subject lab work like CSIT DATA ANALYSIS IN SPREADSHEET and many more

Amity Kolkata:- A comprehensive program with fee structure and scholarship opportunity

I like that the minimum requirement of attendance can be fulfilled easily. Some teachers are very good and helpful when required. The college organises events and other programs for the students as well
The campus is small but very good looking for Outside
The college has its own ATM and cafe coffe day where students can go

Dislikes

The infrastructure management is very poor and some areas example the ceiling and washrooms are unbearable
The faculty is not well equipped with the requirements of a college at this level
The students and teachers speak In local languages rather than speaking English or Hindi which becomes quite difficult for the other students to understand

Placement Experience:

The placements held in campus depends on batches and courses which may vary with companies . A lot of companies visit the college to recruits new students . The interview also takes place inside the college campus

The faculty are very understanding and make things as easy for their students
Our college has air conditioners in every floor

Dislikes

The food court system is very long. Sometimes you just want to buy a lolipop but will be asked to buy a coupon
The shortage of lifts are making students difficult to get to class on time
The condition of the washrooms are not so clean

Amity University is a premiere institute of Kolkata established in 2015 offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various courses. The university can be reviewed on the following parameters:

FEES & SCHOLARSHIPS

The university provides an ample amount of scholarships at undergraduate and postgraduate level with different flexibilities. Merit scholarships are provided with 100% to 25% margin. Up till now 25000 scholarships have been granted to students. The fee structure is affordable as compared to other Amity colleges situated in India. For B.Tech, the fee is Rs. 7 lakh and Rs. 1.5 lakh for M.Sc.

PLACEMENTS

University’s Average package is Rs. 4 lakhs while Highest Package is Rs. 28 lakhs. The major recruiters are Amazon, BYJU’s, Federal Bank, Deloitte, and KPMG.

RESEARCH
