The overall faculty of the fine arts department is satisfactorily good.
The seats are good in the class is a good strength projector good stuff there is people always helping each other.
To be honest amity university kolkata gives placement very well.

Dislikes

Food are not good and healthy sometime can cause food poisoning
Transportation could be problematic due to the college's location off the main route, leading delays and inconvenience for students commuting to and from campus.
The biggest con for the hostel student is they are not allowed to go out during weekdays. This becomes highly inconvenient in some situations and also during some emergency.

MY OWN VIEWS ON MY UNIVERSITY

Likes

1st,for the teaching process,we are very well taught by our teachers and they teach us with enthusiasm and interest
The thing that i dont know yet about the placement issue is because i still havent gone in that year
The infrastructure and facilities are very good and provided in our campus

Dislikes

Nothing apart from the inner ceilings of the building .
The boy and girl ratio is quite good but yes it is not something to unlike anout
Here we still dont know much about the personality development as every people are from different cultures

While joining this course i researched alot about our university's teaching methods and the placements.After joi ing i realized that the way our professors teach us it makes us well prepared for real life struggles and hurdles.

The campus infrastructure. Every course has a block for themselves. There is rarely any clash in classes.
The discipline of teachers regarding the subject.
Easy access to self study spaces. Libraries, foyers etc

Dislikes

The wifi signals are weak. Difficult for students to watch lectures etc on campus
The mess is not free for hostel students.
The quality of food is not good as well. They don't put enough salt in the food

Amity University has one of the best psychology courses in the country. With an NIRF ranking of 39, Amity University is thriving in every aspect. It has student exchange programs with foreign universities and has a great approach to the best universities in the world.

I liked the infrastructure of the college and the ambiance around the whole campus.
The Auditorium and its huge space taking many students at once
They flexibility of the students and teachers

Dislikes

Could be washrooms mostly in all buildings of the campus
Some teachers who sometimes feel like they aren’t teaching
Could be some students who we could call bully sometimes

The course curriculum is good. It doesn't provide irrelevant information and studies but instead actually teaches us things we can use in real life. As psychology students, mostly, whatever we studied was and would be used in real life, but of course, with experience.

Amity Kolkata : Affordable and Royal

Likes

Campus life is very nice with overall ambience and culture of a positive sorroundings
Infrastructure is one of the best, with centrally air conditioned and very well maintaned greenery in the campus.
Variety of extra curricular activities available for a student is very attractive to join the institution.

Dislikes

The location of the campus is a bit rempote and far from the main city and one may end up paying more than required to transport.
The Faculty of the IT department is not upto the mark but teaching pattern and examination style balances the load
There is no non veg food available in the campus which is a big turn down for non vegeterians like me

Placement Experience:

From semester 4 the internship drives are on in this course and semester 5 the students are selected for placement drives. Some companies which visited are Google, Sap Labs, IBM, amazon, Cognizant, Hp. The highest package offered this year was 6.7 lpa and average was 3 lpa. Around 40% students are placed. I am planning to pursue a masters in CA after this course.

Superb college. Amity university

Likes

Construction of the campus is very good.
The maitainence work is very nice. Cafateria is awesome.
Classroom is superb their mobile charging facility is mind blowing for every student.

The decision of choosing this course is my family usiness i want to always do business so i choose this business. The areas for imporovement in the course is they are still studying past five years method or subject they have to change for the current situation.

Amity the best university

Likes

Library are too good and very comfortable
Garden and lawns are very beautiful and wind blows there
Infrastructure is too good as it it the best in structure in whole kolkata

Dislikes

Canteen food are not too good and only provie veg food
75 percentages of attendance are mandatory
9 to 5 timing are too much hectic and struggle

The infrastructure and the atmosphere of the college is wonderful and wholesome. Even by walking through the campus you can feel relaxed. There are all types of features accessible to you for your needs including canteens, Library, sports club etc.
You can always make new friends in the campus and make social interactions in classroom or any clubs like Event Club, literary Club, Sports Club, Dance club, Music Club etc.
The faculty of Amity University Kolkata are well graduated and their teaching methods are exceptional. Every class has its own mentor whom they can talk or get advice from at campus hours anytime.

Dislikes

Although the infrastructure is good but wifi cannot be accessed at all places in the campus. The scheduling of the class is also hapazard and it creates probelms for students who travel long distances to reach college.
There should have been more than one Library as multiple students need to access the books for their study purpose but have to wait for other students to return their books.
The faculty is well graduated but is slightly inconsistent in their teaching . They plot irregular classes and the timings are very odd sometimes.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after 4th semester. Different types of companies come to Amity University Kolkata like Amazon, Wipro and Cisco etc. Highest package is 32 lakh while average package is 3 lakh. Almost 75% students get placements in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement and start working.

Huge Campus enabling the presence of every needed point of interest.
Vast varieties of backgrounds for students to come and share ideas with one another.
Location which makes it quite accessible and not hard to commute.

Dislikes

Some of the washrooms are damaged, not fixed since long but the huge amount of washrooms compensate for it.
Waterlogged walking areas in and in front of the university when its raining heavily, making it inaccessible or hard to access.
Canteen gets crowded very easily making it hard to find a spot during peak hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had a nack for technology hence my choice to choose this course. This course makes us quite world ready with many lab works and real world problems to work with and multiple hackathons that take place within the university help us prepare for problems in a short period of time.

Teachers are excellent in their field of teaching.
The infrastructure is very good and attractive.
The event that the college organised is outstanding.

Dislikes

Toilet are not clean and the management should look on this issue.

Since childhood I decided to go towards the field of engineering which influenced me to choose this course. There are many events hosts by our university related to our couse which prepares us for real-world applications. They should host such events more and more for our improvement. Exams difficulty is moderate.

Faculties, enviornment, freedom, and outfits to be honest, haha
I like that college organises a lot of events and functions and supports these activities
Sports and sports related program such as sangathan and inter sem

Dislikes

Management of my course that is not actually taken a good care of
Less strictness that is not seen in many of the college's.
Some faculties seem to have language issue as their primary language is bengali

Placement Experience:

To be honest, after covid, the placement in my department is a little shaken but we really hope that it will be better soon as big and named companies now are ready to offer internship, we hope they will offer recruitment soon

Amity University is a premiere institute of Kolkata established in 2015 offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various courses. The university can be reviewed on the following parameters:

FEES & SCHOLARSHIPS

The university provides an ample amount of scholarships at undergraduate and postgraduate level with different flexibilities. Merit scholarships are provided with 100% to 25% margin. Up till now 25000 scholarships have been granted to students. The fee structure is affordable as compared to other Amity colleges situated in India. For B.Tech, the fee is Rs. 7 lakh and Rs. 1.5 lakh for M.Sc.

PLACEMENTS

University’s Average package is Rs. 4 lakhs while Highest Package is Rs. 28 lakhs. The major recruiters are Amazon, BYJU’s, Federal Bank, Deloitte, and KPMG.

RESEARCH

Amity Kolkata specifically provides a broader range of research opportunities ranging from international research to national research. The institute has catered 500 books in different domains along with 6000 research publications.
