The overall faculty of the fine arts department is satisfactorily good.
The seats are good in the class is a good strength projector good stuff there is people always helping each other.
To be honest amity university kolkata gives placement very well.

Dislikes

Food are not good and healthy sometime can cause food poisoning
Transportation could be problematic due to the college's location off the main route, leading delays and inconvenience for students commuting to and from campus.
The biggest con for the hostel student is they are not allowed to go out during weekdays. This becomes highly inconvenient in some situations and also during some emergency.

Amity University Kolkata History Honours Review

Likes

I liked the range of Professors in Amity.
I enjoyed taking part and hosting several college programs.
The HOD was always reachable for any grievance and query.

Dislikes

The Library was not equipped for Arts or literature students.
Long waiting hours between classes and formal dressing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always had a penchant for studying History. My batch was the first batch of History in Amity Kolkata. Our professors were PHD holders in average and had a good hold over the subject. We had an interactive classroom session and it was imperative for us to read journals and books assigned by the professors. There were Internal and Final exams, and the exams were specially curated for holistic growth of the students. Viva, writing, Presentation and seminars were the modes of exam. The routine was thoroughly followed for both exams and classes.

The infrastructure of the college was actually very good.
Both the teaching and no tecahing staff were polite and good.
The college had a good food court and the food were extremely good.

Dislikes

The college did not provided any financial assistance.
the swimming poll in the college was not allowed for girls.
the admission process can be made better off.

I Choose this course. I seriously had no other option than to pursue a master's in English because I had done my graduation in English. The student-to-faculty ratio was 1:45 and the faculties were highly qualified.

I like the campus of Amity University. And placement.

I dislike the overpriced the canteen food.

Placement Experience:

The highest placement of our college is 3600000, and the average in our department is 300000. Many large companies visited here like Sony, red chili, etc. The percentage of students getting placed is 90 percent.

Campusing, college life , Well behaved Teacher.
Overall college life is very good for students looking for good both studying and having curricullam activites.
Placements of the college is very good. Our college has been marked no 1 private university in west Bengal.

Dislikes

Cantten foods should have added chicken.
Min cgpa to avail placements should have been 7.0 instead of 7.5

The campus is offered in our college. We can apply for internships and jobs from our official amity site online for students. The avg package of salary is 5Lpa starting. A percentage of the students has to have 7.5cgpa to sit for placements. After getting the degree I plan to do M.Tech.

If you are doing a 2-year course then you are eligible for campus placement in the 3rd sem as i MCA student. Companies come on a campus like Capgemini, continent, tcs, Infosys, IBM, etc. The highest package of placement this year was 12 lac per annum .85% got placement.

There is a strict rule of 75 percent attendance

From the 5 semester students are eligible for internship opportunities and from the end of 6 sem students are eligible to sit in the on-campus placement. The highest package for the last year was given by Amazon which was 32lpa followed by sap 15lpa ibm11 lpa. There are other companies like TCS, Wipro, combination, zs associates etc

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is plenty of faculty available for the students and all of them are knowledgeable and well-educated. Most of them are PhD holders and have relevant work experience in their fields. The teaching methods include class discussions and presentations. The exams are held twice during one semester and some subjects were relatively hard than others.

The placements at the college are pretty average, but it also depends on the student. The students become eligible for placement on the 10th sem. A total of 32 companies visited our college with at least 60-70 offers. The highest package would be around 10-12 lacs and the average package would be 1-1.5 lacs. Around 70-80 students get placements. My aim is to pursue M.Arch in the School of arch. and planning.

Amity University is a premiere institute of Kolkata established in 2015 offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various courses. The university can be reviewed on the following parameters:

FEES & SCHOLARSHIPS

The university provides an ample amount of scholarships at undergraduate and postgraduate level with different flexibilities. Merit scholarships are provided with 100% to 25% margin. Up till now 25000 scholarships have been granted to students. The fee structure is affordable as compared to other Amity colleges situated in India. For B.Tech, the fee is Rs. 7 lakh and Rs. 1.5 lakh for M.Sc.

PLACEMENTS

University’s Average package is Rs. 4 lakhs while Highest Package is Rs. 28 lakhs. The major recruiters are Amazon, BYJU’s, Federal Bank, Deloitte, and KPMG.

RESEARCH
