The overall faculty of the fine arts department is satisfactorily good.
The seats are good in the class is a good strength projector good stuff there is people always helping each other.
To be honest amity university kolkata gives placement very well.

Dislikes

Food are not good and healthy sometime can cause food poisoning
Transportation could be problematic due to the college's location off the main route, leading delays and inconvenience for students commuting to and from campus.
The biggest con for the hostel student is they are not allowed to go out during weekdays. This becomes highly inconvenient in some situations and also during some emergency.

From 4th-semester placement starts in the college. Many companies come to the college for placement. The highest package was 80000 for my course. 90% of students get placed in every batch. after getting the degree I want to work in a reputed company

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. This year there were no placements offered to BBA. Internships are available for interested students. Other students in courses have been offered placement.

Amity - A great boost to your career

Placement Experience:

Amity provides great placements. More than 95% received placements in my batch. The thing about placements is that, it depends upon marks and merit. The higher the marks, the more chances of getting placed. The highest package is 35 LPA and the lowest being 7 LPA. The top recruiting companies ate FORD,MICROSOFT,TCS,WIPRO,GOOGLE,TECHNO etc. Around 98% studenta got interships from my batch. My plans after getting the degree would be doing MBA and doing a startup.

From the 9th Semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited: Amazon, L&T Infotech, Byju's, Epam, Ujjivan, GEP Worldwide, Zypus, and many others. Overall more than 20. Above 70% of the students get placements. I want to opt for corporate life after completing my course.

AN INSIGHT TO JOURNALISM IN AMITY UNIVERSITY KOLKATA

Placement Experience:

As being admitted during the time of pandemics, huge spikes in placements isn't visible although the college ensures 100 percent placement but i think its a hoax. The students performing average like about 6.5 cgpa are entitled to sit for the placement and media houses like ndtv, aaj tak are the companies to come as of my plan i intend to complete higher studies before sitting for a placement.

Remarks:

After I completed my 12th standard there were different universities were I applied with Amity Kolkata being my top choice due to the quality of education that is provided followed by job opportunities. I had to present my 10th and 12th standard marks with a round of interview that was held for my interview.

Amity University is a premiere institute of Kolkata established in 2015 offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various courses. The university can be reviewed on the following parameters:

FEES & SCHOLARSHIPS

The university provides an ample amount of scholarships at undergraduate and postgraduate level with different flexibilities. Merit scholarships are provided with 100% to 25% margin. Up till now 25000 scholarships have been granted to students. The fee structure is affordable as compared to other Amity colleges situated in India. For B.Tech, the fee is Rs. 7 lakh and Rs. 1.5 lakh for M.Sc.

PLACEMENTS

University’s Average package is Rs. 4 lakhs while Highest Package is Rs. 28 lakhs. The major recruiters are Amazon, BYJU’s, Federal Bank, Deloitte, and KPMG.

RESEARCH
