Mess food is average and sometimes we will face a lot of problem
Water problem is there only 4 hours a day

From engineering 4th year semister 1 we are eligible for campus placements Tcs, Wipro, and adobe chips companies visited 18 LPA is the highest package offered 60 per cent of students are placed To work in the core company

Student Life in University

Likes

Environment of college and facilities they provide to students
Events and quizs conducted by seniors and prize money
Freedom for the student and providing his own individuality

Dislikes

Struggles with few friends in hostels which leads to fights

Placement Experience:

We have a good campus placement per cent and about 70% form all branches get placements in different companies. Companies like Tech Mahendra, Infosys, and Microsoft visit every year. we have the highest pack about 20 to 25 lakhs for 3 to 4 students. I want to continue my higher studies.

Mess food is not good you will remember your home food
No senior junior interaction because of the strength of students we have

Students are eligible for campus placement from E3 sem2 .there will be different companies which will offere placement.recently Cameron company recruited two of our students with a package of 6lpa .over all if you try hard you will get the job

A Testimony on RGUKT

Likes

The campus infrastructure is quite good (the academic block]
The sports equipment provided is very good students who are interested in any sports are good to go without anything because they will be provided
The timings of the classes is feasible at 5 the classes will be over and there is no stress on students

Dislikes

Some faculty are quite rude they do not explain the concepts clearly but expect us to do everything on our own
The hostel and mess need some serious repairs and regulations need to be imposed because there is no proper cleanliness
We are not allowed to bring any outside food to college which is a strict rule i believe it shouldn't be the case

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements in the final year i.e., B.Tech 4th year. The companies that visited for placements are Wipro, TCS, etc. The highest package is 27 lpa from the ECE department and the average package is 6 lpa. I don't know the exact percentage but I believe 60% of students will be placed. I plan to do an internship on campus and get a job if a good opportunity is provided.

Support of college for students, college supports in overall development of student and strives for it,includes skill based courses in academic syllabus and ensure advancement of students in every field
Infrastructure of our college,we have well advanced infrastructure and students are provided with laptops for better education
Faculty, faculty teaches a lot and explains in a very efficient way,all are highly qualified and student friendly

Dislikes

Food in hostel will be a problem we face constantly, wishing it could be modified
Examinations will be within a short time so that students are facing it as burden
We are having water facility,water will be available only 4 hours per day

Placement Experience:

Engineering 4th-year sem 1 students are eligible for campus placement. Analog electronics and circuits, synopsis,Tcs. The highest package is 25 LPA and the basic is 3LPA. 70 percent are getting placed. To write government jobs and get jobs in bank service.

The infrastructure of college is good and friendly environment
No ragging in the campus areas and good relation between senior and junior
Good libary facility. It has a lot of books

Dislikes

Mess food is not good and taste is bad as conpared to home food.
Hostel washrooms are not good. They are not maintaining cleaness
In class room and labs there is no proper cooling system

Placement Experience:

From e3 s2 onwards we are eligible for the campus placements. There are many companies visited our college few are analogue devices, moschip, isro, dxc, iitm, iitb, drdo. They offered assistant developer roles in their companies. 70 percent of people get placed every year on average. After getting my degree I used to do a core job in ECE. The highest package is 2600000 and the average package is 350000

An Experience worth sharing

Likes

The campus life is quite good
The faculty is very cooperative however there are nly few like that but they are very supportive they think and care about students

Dislikes

Some faculty are very rude they dont even care for students and thre higher ups dont even care to see thrrough this issue
The hostels bathrooms are something that badly need repirs there are no proper doors and the cleanliness is questionable

Course Curriculum Overview:

University provides us with a 6-year integrated btech course in which the first two years we will term as pre-university course and the remaining 4 years is termed as btech. As it was an integrated course I was interested in it. Many courses are offered in it. The faculty-student ratio is fair enough. Also, all faculty are experienced and all Ph.D. graduates. The teaching methods were good. In a year there are 2 semesters. In each semester we have 3 mids and the exam difficulty level is moderate.

Likes

I like so much in college study is good and
All people are very nice and good and intellectual
Good infrastructure in our campus and environment is good

Dislikes

Mess is bot good to eat the food. The quality is bad.
And also maintenance of mess is very bad and very poor
Maintenance of wash rooms is not good is very bad

Placement Experience:

There are many companies coming to our college few are isro and moschip, anlog devices iitm and iib many. We get an internship in the 3rd year of the btech. 70 percent of people get the internship in 4th year. I plan to study further after BTech.

Likes

The poor people can also afford to study in this College. The host facilities are very good. Very few powercuts.
Giving valuable suggestions to students with a quality education.
Faculty is very talented. Timeliness is the first priority.

Dislikes

Sometimes the taste of curries in meal are not good.
Quantity of food is not sufficient some times.
Bathrooms in hostel are not neat and clean. Some doors are broken.

Placement Experience:

In my third year of engineering sem 2, I am eligible for internships and campus interviews done on my campus. INFOSIS, TATA, AMAZON, etc. are some companies shown interest in visiting our campus. The highest package is around 1 crore rupees per annum and the average package we get is 4-5 lakh per annum. About 50% of students get placements on campus. To improve coding skills in my internship.

My opinion on RGUKT

Likes

I was much impressed the way of education system
I like the infrastructure of the college.
The faculties are playing role in the future of the students for better life.

Dislikes

The quality of food is not good and not well cooked.
The mess is not cleaned regularly and cleanly.
The hostel bathrooms were not properly cleaned.

Placement Experience:

From the third year of engineering and in sem 2 the internships were available for the students who were interested. Many multinational companies were visited for students mainly Infosys, tata, Amazon, etc. There were numerous offers by our rgukt students. A maximum of 70-80% of students get placements in rgukt itself. I was planning to start a business on my own.

What is your review of IIIT Nuzvid?

The facilities are quite good but you will not find smart graduates here. The classrooms are good with 3-star accommodation. Everything including the notices is sent online.

A peculiar thing that you will notice is that everyone here uses Linux as an operating system including Fedora, Ubuntu, and Zorin.
There are no hard copy textbooks and it is a smart campus with no electrical lines seen anywhere.
In your first year, you will do well, plus there is no entrance exam to gain admission.
Infrastructure-wise, the college is good. It was mainly started to boost village students to gain exposure to higher education.
It also gives an option of 6 years of free education to prevent girls from getting married too early.
There are also free food and hostel facilities for underprivileged students. However, the main drawback is that it could shrink the mindset of many students by making them complacent.
You will also find really good faculty that will help you secure a job later. Most lecturers here are individuals who have done well in their subjects.
Underprivileged students also get the opportunity to access movies and the internet.

Overall, it is a good place but most students end up being intelligent and not street smart here.

RGUKT Nuzvid is the only institute which provides students with laptop and internet connectivity. The institute has a population of 6000 students and 300 faculty members. The institute also has the biggest library in Andhra Pradesh.

Placements:-

RGUKT Nuzvid has a solid placement department for BTech and MTech students. Around 60-70 companies visit the campus every year.

The top companies are Cognizant, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Intel, Internshala, etc.

Admission details:-

The institute offers 6-year integrated BTech courses with a minimum of 50% marks as aggregate in the 10th standard.
Admissions are offered based on the marks in class 10.
The candidates need to have 60% marks in BTech degree for admission in the MTech program.
Admissions are based on the marks in the GATE score, followed by counseling.

Campus Life

The institute is a fully residential environment with a ragging free campus.
The campus has all the students’ facilities as students have to stay at the college for studies.
