Cgc Jhanjeri honest review

Likes

Everything is fine in the college I would like to appreciate the quality of education.
Campus have perfect area of 60 acres so there's no worry about it also students are very social.
Library is also huge almost every book is available.

Dislikes

Some faculties are very unfriendly and they talk rudely.
Placements services are good but they don't give any specialized training to first year students.
There is improvements needed in class infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As AI&DS is a growing field and vast career opportunities so I choose this field. The curriculum not prepares very much about the real world applications. They should improve the way of teaching and subjects content. Exams are not very much frequent they usually occur in 1.5-2 months also the difficulty of exams is average.

Likes

Good faculty with experience and all in practical field too.
Campus is full of greenery and nature's beauty
Curriculum is also well designed by the University.

Dislikes

Lack of social clubs in the campus is a severe issue.
Less encouragement to the sports and the updates .
The outing timing of the girls need some changes in comparison to the boys.

Placement Experience:

From 5th sem onwards campus placements are initiated. Not many companies visit a and those companies which do visit are not very related to the core jobs. The highest package was 42 lakh although the average package is 4 lakhs. Not even 50% of the students are placed. I plan to opt for offcampus placements

All about CGC jhanjheri

Likes

Infrastructure is very good and clean. College also has gardens and other sports ground as well.
Faculty service is very good, they are supportive and cooperative.
Canteens and food courts are provided, food is good and hygiene.

Dislikes

The level of the things they teach is so low.
The exam fees and other form fees that they include are unnecessary.
The focus on creativity and all is also very low.

Placement Experience:

They provide good placements in every course, although I don't know much about placements in my course, i know that they make you fill forms for which they provide paid internships in the companies and after your degree it is kinda sure that you will get placed somewhere if you make a good portfolio along the semesters.

Tips and tricks for college

Likes

My teachers in my course are very good, if I don't understand something once then she explains it again and again in the same easy language.
The college campus is very clean and full of greenery.
My course is very good and you get to learn a lot in it, I can do a lot in the artist field after your course.

Dislikes

If there are fees or any other paper work in college, then there is a lot of roaming around unnecessarily.
There are some teachers who don't know how to behave with kids.
The food items in the shops in my college seem a bit expensive.

Placement Experience:

Before coming to the college, I had met many seniors who told me that the placements of this college are very good, there are many seniors who have been placed, they have been taken in good companies and they have good salaries.

Having a good infrastructure of academic blocks
Awesome students friendly faculties helps students to grow more
Huge College campus and many fests are held monthly basis

Dislikes

The food quality of mess food after 4 months is poor
The transportation facilities buses are old.

From the 5 semester you are eligible for the college placements and paid internships.The placements of this year are good the highest package is 44lpa and as average it goes to 8 lpa.In this year nearly 1200 companies came for the placements

Reality of CGC, jhanjeri

Likes

I like the campus of the cgc, jhanjeri. The campus is very green , full with plants and trees.
Infrastructure of the cgc jhanjeri is also very nice . There are 5 blocks for different departments and all the blocks are very modern in design .
There are many food outlets in the campus, which are very affordable and providing tasty food . And there is also a stationary shop in the campus

Dislikes

In classroom there is no Ac . In summers it is very difficult to sit in class

Placement Experience:

The placements of the cgc, jhanjeri are very good , resently my senior got a job offer of 45lpa . The average package is 6-7 lpa . Many companies visit here for placements . 70-80% of students get placed here . I will also avail placement from cgc, jhanjeri

My perfect college life till now

Faculty, infrastructure, facilities, different communities
There are few different communities for the student welfare who look after the injustice and issues students are facing

Dislikes

There are none as per my experience its been 6 months till i took admission and i am not facing any such problem regarding anything.

Placement Experience:

After 4,5 semester students are eligible for the placement and also placements are provided on the basis of an individual's performance, companies like byjus , microsoft office, , amazon and many other famous companies come at our campus for the placements

i liked the affordability of the course.
The campus was clean and it was maintained properly

Dislikes

The companies that visit was not technical
There were less placements opportunities

The reason why I chose this college over the other one is of course the affordability apart from that Now there can be a lot of improvements to the curriculum like focusing on more practical exams There were 3 exams per semester which consisted of 2 MST's and 1 end term examination

Campus is very nice. All is good . When I am free from classes, I walk in campus for enjoy.
Facility also supportive. When I have confusion on anything, the teachers give me instructions.
Friends, my friends are very good. I enjoyed the company ofy friends. The helped me every time in every tough situation

Course Curriculum Overview:

Relevance and comprehensiveness of the curriculum the course curriculum at Chandigarh one of the case pets that influenced by decision to choose this course was its those personalization in finance and marketing which provided diverse career opportunity and balance . Preparation for real word applications the curriculum includes in the ship live project and case studies that previous students.

About my college

Likes

The college campus is good the college is in progress
The college provides best education as they can
It will may be soon become an university

Dislikes

Canteen is small as compared to population of college
Any update is immediately sent we have to perform very less things are announced earlier
College is best according to me after some years it will best college in Punjab currently this is in progress due to which there is some obstacles

Currently as i told college is under progress earlier placement is done from all 3 colleges cu,cgc landran and our but now they break the link and placement is done only in our college due to which currently placement is not so good

What is your review of CGC Jhanjeri?

My cousin studies at CGC Jhanjeri and it's a nice and average place to be. Following are some issues though, which may be burdensome:

If you wish to go out during college hours then you will need to get an application signed by the CC and the HOD. The process itself will take up a lot of time.
Girls can stay out up to 7 pm in summers and 6 pm in winters and you can step out to roam in the campus by 4:30 and you will have to return in two hours to avoid sending a call home.
You should have at least a 75% attendance like most colleges, but it will be evaluated every 15 days. You will have to attend 75% of 15 days to avoid detention during the Monthly Sessional Tests of MSTs.
The campus is verdant and hygienic and it has a playground, but it is surrounded by grasslands on all sides up to 5 Kms. It has all the basic amenities like stationery shops, sports ground, pool, games room, etc.
Even transportation is an issue and autos and buses are the only way but quite time-consuming.

Hostel, mess food, cleanliness, room Sharing are not any issues at all. You will not have to worry about ragging too. You can go to Chandigarh for shopping after getting your passbook filled and signed by the Warden.

However, you cannot bunk because the campus is small, you can get discovered very easily and may face some good punishment. As for placements, it all depends upon research-based hard work and skills. Major companies do visit for recruitment.
