Likes

One of the best thing of college is greenery.
Faculty is very cooperative. They support you in your study.
Also college provide bus facility for the students even for those who live 70 km far from college.

Dislikes

The main thing is that some desks are not in good condition.
The projectors of some classrooms are not in working condition.
The smart tv is not provided in every classroom

Placement Experience:

From semester 7 students become eligible for placements but not every student. To become eligible for placements you have to clear AMCAT exam organised by college itself. Recently Deloitte Accenture have visited for the placement program. Approximately 80% students get placed last year.

Likes

I liked the supportive faculty of the college.
There is very good security for hostlers and students.

Dislikes

Actually, in this college nothing is to dislike .
There is 9:30 to 4:30 classes but it's not permanent.
For the hostelrs, In the campus we can't walk after 10 p.m.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my course btech Cyber security there are very supportive faculty members, They also tell us about our future in this course and they always clear our doubt in class, There are also labs and library where you can study.

It has a lot of activities such as games
The college life is just like awesome and enjoyable
It offers lot of start-up program for the students so that they can setup their own business

Dislikes

For appearing in examination you need 75% attendance

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placement from the 6th semester and it's placement ratio is good. Like the highest placement is 45 lakhs per annum and the average placement is 7 Lakhs per annum. The percentage is 90%

Likes

College environment is very good . It provides us the very comfortable and motivating environment.
Faculty is very nice , their teaching techniques are very good .
College provides us comfortable and well air qualified classrooms.

Dislikes

The thing I dislike about college is that canteen space is very less in compare to size of students.
Library does not have enough books, like they always give us book of some other author not of that which we demanded.
College charge fees on every fest , no matter if yoy are attending event or not you have to pay the money.

Placement Experience:

Placements of college is very good . Big Mnc's like Accenture, Tcs approach college. College prepares you very well for Placements, they have special department with highly qualifiable teachers which teaches us about how to crack job.

Likes

I like only the study system and the strictness they are applying
I like campus environment (greenery only)

Dislikes

Attendance system is so bad that student came only for this not for study
Library don't issue book for one sem but we have to come after every 10 days to reissue it
Over strictly behavior of every staff . Always gave stress to students to do work

Placement Experience:

College provide placement who reallly want to be as who have capabilities got the job . And also teacher told to focus on your placement and help us to make our resume which help us to sit in resume .

I liked that there is a healthy crowd in the college .there are student who are studious ,students who are good at sports and students with arts field so there is no rat race going on the college .
The fest of the college .if someone is the type of guy who enjoys the fest and events this college is for u .because there is always a fest going on here .or some other events every week .
I liked the college infrastructure as the college has many amenities library,snookers, cafes and a shop called easyday which literal to its name gets u everything u need and makes your day easy.

Dislikes

The college is not so close to town so the connectivity to all other places and city is a long way to go .
The network issues even though they provide wifi in the college but as soon as u exit the college block ...the wifi is gone and here the mobile network doens't work nicely so payments and Instagram buffer alot .
The placement here for some branches not all is not so good .if u are planning anything in arts or other not so popular branches u need to work hard .

Placement Experience:

In this college The students become eligible for campus placement after 6 th sem i.e in 3 year There are many companies who visit the college Some of them are microsoft,Adobe ,Walmart Amazon ,autodesk etc. There were total 800 offer made last year . The highest package was of 47.5 lpa And avg package was that of 8-9 lpa The profiles offered were or Software engineer , management role ,operation manger ,marketing sales etc. Overall 83% students were placed My plans are not of taking up a job but rather do something on my own .

My Lovely College

Likes

i like the management how they listen our problems carefully and solve rhem asap
i also like the environment around the campus everyone is superb everything gives positive vibes
i also like the food in mess or canteen it is very good and hygienic

Dislikes

i don't like the class timings we have about 5 to 8 classes every day of about 50 mins that sucks
i also dont like the assignments we have to write almost everytime
also there is no cricket ground which i dont like i myself am a big cricket fan i love to watch and play it

Placement Experience:

Our college provides 100% placement in campus but although if i don't get the placement in campus there are still many more opportunities as we know there is high demand of artificial intelligence in the private sector and they provide decent package we can apply there

A good college with decent placement

Our college infra is really very good, campus is really beautiful all the necessary labs are there.
Our college also have E- CELL where you can share your idea be it anything business idea, startup idea. If they liked it they will help you with that providing and even funding too.
Placement is decent in this college. You can get good placements if you work hard on your skills. Average package is around 5 LPA

Dislikes

Campus is bit small compared to other top colleges, but still it is enough as all things are available

Placements are decent in our college average is around 5 LPA. Good amount of company visit our college. Highest was around 48 lpa if i'm not wrong average lies between 5 lpa. Talking about the placemnents percentage i have no idea in that case as im in my first year

Chandigarh engineering College Ki achhi faculty hai
The college building has been well constructed
The college campus is very nice, there is greenery all around

Dislikes

Faculty of engineering college is not so goof
I don't have any market etc. nearby. The nearest one is 5 km.

Placement Experience:

In my college the placement for engineering is good, if you do a degree then the placement is good, this time the highest package has gone up to 80 lakhs and the average is running at 7 lakhs. Placements are good

This university provides a very good opportunity for the placements with good options
The attitude of staff and the Teachers is very good related to the study
The infrastructure of college is very good

Dislikes

College campus is too big , for a one day visit
Sometime lectures didn't happen at time and sometime teachers didn't come to attend lecture
There is very much strictness related to the hostel

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course have provided new very good opportunity in my field this university also provides the good options for the placements with good reputed companies The frequency and timing of the examination occurs on time under the Punjab University

What is your review of CGC Jhanjeri?

My cousin studies at CGC Jhanjeri and it's a nice and average place to be. Following are some issues though, which may be burdensome:

If you wish to go out during college hours then you will need to get an application signed by the CC and the HOD. The process itself will take up a lot of time.
Girls can stay out up to 7 pm in summers and 6 pm in winters and you can step out to roam in the campus by 4:30 and you will have to return in two hours to avoid sending a call home.
You should have at least a 75% attendance like most colleges, but it will be evaluated every 15 days. You will have to attend 75% of 15 days to avoid detention during the Monthly Sessional Tests of MSTs.
The campus is verdant and hygienic and it has a playground, but it is surrounded by grasslands on all sides up to 5 Kms. It has all the basic amenities like stationery shops, sports ground, pool, games room, etc.
Even transportation is an issue and autos and buses are the only way but quite time-consuming.

Hostel, mess food, cleanliness, room Sharing are not any issues at all. You will not have to worry about ragging too. You can go to Chandigarh for shopping after getting your passbook filled and signed by the Warden.

However, you cannot bunk because the campus is small, you can get discovered very easily and may face some good punishment. As for placements, it all depends upon research-based hard work and skills. Major companies do visit for recruitment.
