IIIT pune is a college of national importance, it runs under MHRD.Firstly talking about the brand name that you get being a iiitian.Companies that come here for placements are top notch. Students here are brilliant as all have entered through a tough examination.Bad aspects are , college doesnt yet have a permanent campus , it is under construction. IIIT P runs under ppp mode , hence fee is very high than other government colleges.

No, there was no GD. Admission was solely based on your AIR in JEE mains and you get seat through an all india counseling conducted by Josaa or CSAT.

Placements start in the 3rd year. We have a good placement record with the highest package going up to 22 LPA and the average ranging from 7.5-9 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Gojek, TCS have offered some good packages to our students. About 80% of students have campus placements every year.

The location and reputation of the institute made me to choose it as it was initially under the mentorship of COEP which is one of the oldest and reputed college in the state. The weather is really amazing in the city. As it was a new College we were supposed to do many things on our own and it gave us good knowledge and experience about the external world. We were free to approach the management for our problems. We are allowed to express our point of view collectively or individually to the administration and the staffs of the institute are really co-operative. There are many student made clubs approved and supported by management for the development of the students. We were supported to take part in inter and intra college technical and cultural fests such as inter IIIT fest, mood Indigo in IIT Bombay, BITs goa cultural fests, few inter College sports fests, etc. Students are expected to be good in their academics and supported by faculties for all kind of reputed events conducted anywhere around the country. IIIT PUNE won 1st and 2nd place in SIH on 2018 and 2019.

The placements of the college are pretty good. Placements are boosting up every year when compared to last year's placement. At most, all the students who are applying for placements are getting placed in the first quarter of the 4th year.

Institute provide a good placement percentage Students become eligible in the 7th sem for campus placement. Amazon, gojek,juspay are the major recruiters. For the batch of 20/21, the highest package was 22 lac offered for three students one from ECE and the other from CSE. The average package ranges from 7 to 9 lac. College provides more than 90% of students internships ranging from 35000 to 50000. I plan to get a decent package job.

As Pune is home to various multinational companies there are very good chances of getting placement. Also the location of college is quite pleasant as it's temporary campus is surrounded by Greenery. Also it's mentor institute is coep.
