Best College of my life

Likes

Everything is fine and amazing, faculties are too good.
The college life is good , behaviour and campus culture is too good.
Infrastructure are pretty good but needs to be more improvement.

Dislikes

I think there is nothing to dislike about the university.
I think placement should be ipmroved for passing students or last sem.
They should care about placement,i mean good placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum i like in civil engineering about this university is good theory as well as practical knowledge provided. Practical are based on real world and some practical are examined outside classroom to learn in the best way.

Likes

The Professor at BIT Sindri are very much experienced and the institute has a very good engineering infra
The Clubs Provide immese Personality Development And Enhancement Opportunity
The Batchmates and the peer group in bir is awesome

Dislikes

Ragging Culture is Too Much here , Seniors are to be heavily respected
The Prof. Donot listen To Ragging Complains and React On it
Infra of Many Hostel Has become Quite Old

Likes

It is one of the oldest institution of India
It has high return on investment ROI that is good.
Here teachers and seniors are very helpful.

Dislikes

First year hostels are are very far from college campus.
First year classes are started very late
First year students are not very free to move anywhere.

Placement Experience:

Semester 7 students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like TATA motors,l&t , Capgemini , Amazon, samsung,and many companies.last year number of offiers are 500+. Highest salary is 50 lpa and the average is 7.5 lpa

lectures are very friendly and they can provide so many facilities for students
if you have any doubts about academics they will clear
environment around the college is awsome

Dislikes

college is away from city the distance is more
transportation is quite difficult for journey
girls hostel is away from the college so they need to travel 25km per day

In this college students are eligible for placements is from seventh semister and placements are good. some of the companies are visited our college like capgemini , tcs , acenture , L&T technology services

my life in bit sindri

Likes

the return of investment of bit sindri is great as compare to others colleges.
the fee structure is low as compare to others colleges.
hostels and mess of bit sindri is better in compare to other colleges.

Dislikes

the faculty oif bit sindri is not up to the mark.
the clubs and society of bit sindri is not doing well for student well fare.
training and placement is mainly done by the student which is not good in term of honesty.

Placement Experience:

6th semester student are get to placements directly through TAP cell. there are different companies come like TATA steel, vedanta, amns, jsw, jsl etc for core brances and for it sector samsung, tcs comes. the highest pakage of bit sindri is 44LPA and the average pakage is almost 6.5 lpa. almost 90 percent of student get placed.

The first thing I like about my college that it is State government college so we have to pay much less than another engineering College
Infrastructure is based on new generation so I liked it
The most important thing I liked here is my friends.

Dislikes

The Library timing is just for 1hour which I don't like
And there is rarely any fest aur program is organised
This college is very far from main city so lack of resources but still many development are process

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I just want to do cse and according to my jee percentage and my category in bit sindri I can get any branch and in nit I didn't get any course so instead of core I decided to choose my interest. And truly don't expect only academic study from college will set ur futur you have to do ur work and have to focus on skill also Since our college follow jut board so be aware about exam scenario. And mid terms are taken within a range of one and one-half month.

Life in my college.

Likes

College campus is full of greenery and surrounded with mountains.
Facilities are friendly and helpful. They are always their for the help in studies.
Academic structure is overall well structured.

Dislikes

Placements are not that good as of now recession time.
Fest are not that great as compared to other colleges.
Hostel wardens are too much strict, they bother girls more then boys.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is average over all. 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies are Tata motors, Tata steel, Nathcorp etc. The highest package is 6.5L and average is 3.5L as per profiles offered. 60-70 % students getting placements.

Well Spended my day in B.tech.

Likes

I like the campus overall greenery and surrounding with mountain view in front of college.
Teacher are very friendly and helpful throughout the course.
Training and placement cell is very helpful to crack a job.

Dislikes

Hotel wardens are very pathetic in nature and very strict for girls to stay.
Mess food was too bad. Canteen food is average
College too in side from the main road, don't have public transportation near the college.

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is overall average. We face problem to get placement due to recession. From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies are tata motors, Nathcorp etc. The highest package was 6.5L and average was 3l per year. 60 % students are able to get the placements from the campus only.

The insight of BIT SINDRI

The affordability of our college is appreciable. The campus acre of our college is spread over 480 acre which is very huge.
Our institute is established in 1949 so it's having 75 years so it has lots of connection all over globe. Many ias chairman are from our college.
The alumni network of our college is outstanding. SAIL chairman is from our college and many ips and ias. The surrounding is very competitive Evey yaer single digit rank holder in gate is from our college.

Dislikes

The hostels is not very old as it's having 75 years of establishment. The electricity problem is a major issue but now solar are being installed in every hostel
Their is very rules and regulations in our college regarding uniform for freshers no casual dress and long route for going to class which make first year student tired.
Our college is only available for jhatka residents only which make its less diverse. The labs needs some repairs

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Top companies visits our college like Amazon, Google, samsung,tata, vedanta , Capgemini, reliance,TCS,Honda etc. The highest placement last year was of 50 lpa in de Shaw company. Many students got above 10 lpa 75- 80 percent of student gets placed in our college. Due to rigorous hard work of our college. I have a plan to have a campus placement and enjoy

Bit My college experience

Likes

Nice environment ,nature is goood and faculty is also nice
Hostel food is so good and wifi facility everywere
Faculty members are very cooperative and helping

Dislikes

College campus is not ragging free and not anti-ragging
Poor infrastructure and unavailable of vehicles inside
Lab facilities is not good and improper instruments

Placement Experience:

Placement of college is very good and package is also good ,in civil engineering we got job offer from l&t , reliance,tata steel& co,acc and alomost everyone got placement,and maximum package is 8lakh per annum
