BCET Durgapur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placement of our college is good nearly 80% get a placed in many companies. The Highest package of our college is around 12 lakh per annum and the average package be around 3.5 lakh per annum company like Wipro and many more company Tata and Mahindra come in this college.

College placement will be nice, and more than 80% of students are placed. Many reputed companies come during placed in a company like Wipro Tata Mahindra etc it is very good placements in last year

Firstly I want to admit this course because I am exited to know what the technology is and how it works.so I am choosing the IT course.all faculty member are blessed with their mtech degree of their individual domain. Every ca exams ,pa exams are timely taken with massive hard guard.

After the 6th-semester students are eligible for placements. There are many companies visited in our colleges such as TCS, Wipro, infotech, BYJUS and many more. The highest package of our college is 12LPA and the lowest is 2.6LPA. The average package is about 4.9LPA. About 70-80% of students are placed every year. I plan to get a good job after the completion of my degree.

From 7th sem students become eligible for placement, well this college provides placement only in a marketing company and few technology companies only a few of us has joined those companies and rest of us managed to get placed in off-campus and rest did not get placed, there is a huge list of students to be placed but in reality, nobody joined those companies.

After the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. The placement is not too good. Cognizant, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Hauwei, DXC technology, Inceptional, Byju's, extra mark, sap. Highest package of 7 LPA.

BCA is a very good course for the student who is interested in computer science. In this course, there are various subjects of computer including C C++ Java Python Web development (Html, css, javascript), Database, Networking, Data Structure. The faculty: student is 1:15. All Faculties are highly qualified and well trained. All have done P.hd degree and prior work experience in their respective field. All the examinations (CA /internal /Semester held on time) according to the university notification and the difficulty level is moderate.

About 70 percent of the students got placed every year and some of the students opt for further studies like M Tech, MBA, etc. My plans after getting placed are that I want to work in the cooperate world.

BCA provides the students with theoretical knowledge and practical experience that helps them to go for various job possibilities in the sphere of computer application from handling projects to complex programming. A BCA degree prepares the students to deal with anything and everything. The student teacher ratio is 1:20. The teachers are very well. They always treat you like a friend. The student teacher bond is very good. They are highly qualified (P.hd /m.tech). The term exam is always on time even all the CA exams are always on time. University provides an Id and password where he/she can see their marks/ date of examination. The difficulty level is moderate not too easy / not too hard.

The placement has been very god over the years. Many companies visit the campus every year with the top recruiters being TCS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, INFOSYS, COCA-COLA, BYJUS and EXTRAMARKS.In the CS department, Out of 180, 177 got placed this year with the campus placements still going on. Unlike many colleges, here it is allowed to sit for as many comapnies as you wish. You can sit in campus placements as soon as you get into your 3rd year. The average package is around 4.7LPA with lowest being 2.5LPA and highest offered till date being 18LPA. Currently I have plans to initially get into TCS around 10LPA and if not then upskilling myself and going on for off campus placements. If you have the skills then nothing can stop you from getting 60+ LPA or even more depending on the company and post and requirements.
