CMRIT Bangalore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students are trained for placements from the first semester by a program called TYL-Tie Your Laces which helps them improve their technical and interpersonal skills. Students become eligible for placements from 5th semester onwards depending on the company requirement. But most students get placed in the 7th semester. We have a lot of companies (100 on average) like Dell, Deloitte, Amazon,SAP etc to name a few. More than 90% of the students get placed with average package of 5.5 LPA.

The students start being placed by companies from the 3rd year itself. There have been packages of more than 21 LPA offered as well as there is a median package of around 4 LPA. More than 90% of the students get placed in the placement drives.

Students pursuing the 7th sem are also eligible for placements. companies like and pad, canbright, spacegrab, Eurofins,practo, SAP labs, TLS, DELL technologies, OpenText and many more companies recruit students from the campus. The average salary package is 4LPA - 7LPA.

placements are very good. The college trains students from the beginning of the first semester. College also conducts different kinds of aptitude classes for the betterment of students placements. Classes like TYL, soft skills, etc are conducted. students are eligible for campus placements from the 6th sem. This year highest package offered was 24LPA. almost 70-80% of students got placed into good companies like Microsoft, Huawei, biju, Accenture, Wipro, etc. Many core companies also visit our college. Students are eligible to attend the interview until they get placed.

After this degree, there is a portion of students going for their Master's Degree abroad/top IITs and NITs, some of them prefer to get placed and work an entry-level job in their domain and the rest pick up entrepreneurship. CMRIT has had many entrepreneurs in the past and is constantly fuelling them with their Incubation center where they provide funding and guidance to those who want to start-up. College has all kind of recruiters like Mass Recruiters (TCS,WIpro, etc.) and Product based companies like (DELL, VMWare, etc.) and close to 85%-90% graduate with a job offer in hand. Avg placement CTC rounds to around 6 LPA and highest so far has been 21 LPA. College gets around 100-150 companies visiting the campus annually.

In our college we have to meet some criteria to take part in placements i,e there were almost 4 levels in all the aptitude, reasoning, vocabulary and also in coding subjects .once you clear these exams you will be eligible for placements, I cleared my TYL level exams in my 4th semester and from the 4th semester itself I was given chance for placements during the 4th semester I gave my aptitude for Infosys and got my job offer in my 5th semester. Almost 100+ companies visit our campus and all the companies gave offer letters. The highest package I got to see was 24 LPA. Once after clearing TYL almost all students will be eligible for drives but a maximum of companies prefer 60% and above My plans after mca are to be focused and successful in my career

CMRIT is popular due to its campus placements. The college prepares the students thoroughly for placements right from the 1st year . The 'TYL' department is a cherry on ice cream when it comes to the placements. Also, the Career and Placement cell keeps the students updated of all hiring drives and assists in all possibl ways to get selected and meet criterias. The highest packages are 12LPA to 23.5 LPA which depends on companies. In my opinion 75% of the students are placed every year and the placement assistance is also extendend to the pass out students. The students are eligible for placements in the 3rd year that is in the 5th semester.

Placements in CMIT is one of the best parts, because the university itself has a department for placement and the faculty in the department are very well versed in the process of getting jobs in various industries and companies, the department has made a circulum known as "TYL" ( Tie your Laces) a program which was added from the 1st year you enroll till you finish your course, the program was designed to train you ,so that during placement it's very easy for you and you dont get nervous and the program makes you confident in taking part in the interview. The results for getting placed in your choice of company or industry will be high just because the program set by the department gives you a quality knowledge and training. The highest package in our college was 24 lakhs per annum.Talking about the companies and industry which look out for our college, many big companies have kept an eye on our college which gives a bigger opportunity for students to get placed .

Students become eligible for placements in their 7th semester and will have to give aptitude tests to clear the initial rounds to get into the placement drive. College is very strict when it comes to these tests. Companies like Infosys, Bosch, Koch, and many other highly reputed companies visit the college to hire quality Engineers.
