GCET Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Amazon visited the college last year, so there is no absence of talent here. The placements for CS and IT are good, while that of core branches is satisfactory. My plans after getting the degree are either to apply for an offline placement or starting a business of my own.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Placements in our college are pretty good. TCS, INFOSYS, Wipro and cognizant are some of the companies that visited our college. The highest packages are provided by Byjus that are around 10 LPA. 85% of students get their placement. I'll do preparation for a government job after getting the degree.

The course which I choose was the bachelor of technology in the mechanical branch. Which is quite a tough branch compared to others for me still I chose this branch because I want to learn about machines, manufacturing process, etc. This branch completely related to various kinds of machines, the various processes of manufacturing, and many things. The faculties of my branch are very helpful, they make things easy. There are many faculties in this branch. For each subject, there are approximately 2-3 teachers available. Qualification of the faculties is about the minimum to master degree and some of them also have their Ph.D. too. Their teaching methods are too good they make things quite easy so every student can understand everything easily. Still, you have any doubt you can ask them in any free time they're available for you. Exams take place once every 1 to 1.5 months. According to me, there is no such tough exam If you study well and understand things instead of memorizing.

I choose this course of BTech in CSE with AIML because I wanted to be an engineer and exceed in AIML branch. The faculty is good and well educated, student and faculty ratio is well planned. Faculties provide their best to students in the field of academics and other things. Faculties are friendly and teach very well. They provide notes and exams are held every proper time.

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester as companies start visiting the college for students who are in the 3rd year or 6th semester. In GCET many companies visit like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Amazon, dream11, byju's, and many more companies and it has any offers that every student of CSE will have 2 jobs at the end. The highest package is 35 lakhs which is achieved by a student last year and the average package is quite good that is 5 lakhs, it is an average package. Profiles offered are almost every depending upon and the student from the call centre, junior developer, to senior developer. GCET has a percentage of about 94% to 95% for main branches and it further rises for CSE branch. My plan is to get a place in one of the top companies and the best one according to my potential to make contacts and to work hard in whichever company I get placed in.

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester for Btech. For the civil Department, 9LPA was the highest package offered last time by L&T. If you have the knowledge of your field and you've maintained 7-8 SGPA (is same as CGPA) you'll get an easy placement chance.

Placements are decent and good for branches like cs and it but not for all branches to be honest students from other branches of what exam like it and some try for off ask and displacement as college offers average placement of 5 lakh per annum.

Placements are quite decent and very good as compared to other colleges. It has an average placement of 4.5 lakhs which is very good. Almost 85% of the students get placed. I have decided to do MBA if I could not able to get a good package.
