Scholarship has been given by the ts government for fee reimbursement for the students as well as separate 5000 and nsp well given the 10k to merit students.
The faculty with good knowledge helps us to improve in our education
Placements are good in campus, well infrastructure and good modies nature in campus, and course are cse, ce, mech, eee, it, ds, aiml, etc

Dislikes

Dislike the faculty of core department.they fail to provide the more information about subject
We have no hostels around the college as we have to travel
The mobile signal is dead in the campus, which is quite frustrating

About our college

Likes

Huge campus spacious ground and classrooms
Maintenance and taking care of students.
Placements(software) many companies visits the campus

Dislikes

More focus on classes,studies and exams.
Less cultural activities and events are held
Non technical events are rare compare to technical

Course Curriculum Overview:

Now-a-days all are rush towards cse as the software is developing but I wanted to go with electronics and communication engineering which is all time standard course and also don't want to rush with them although it is little bit Tougher than others As it contains both electronics and communications related subjects

I like the way of teaching, Involvement of all activities, And mostly i like our faculty and their responsibility

Very short holidays are seen , They not allowed to wear jeans to girls in college

My course is computer science of engineering. And the faculty was amazing. And the teaching is very excellent I have ever seen. The faculty was friendly with students. They can solve our doubts very clearly and perfectly.

From 3rd year campus/placement training will be started. Students are allocated into groups based on their performances and skills. Highest package is 12 lakhs per annum. Lowest package is 4 lakhs per annum and average is 6 lakhs per annum

A very interesting college life.

Likes

I like campus classrooms that they are very elongated they are freely spaced.
I like library there we have lot of books and for our relaxation or for knowledge we can read any book.
I like playing the games and sports in the ground.

Dislikes

I didn't like security their restrictions and all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a lot of interest in civil engineering because they will have a choice to build tha nation. So I choosed civil engineering. In my college faculty show with some examples. By taking students to the construction sites. And all they are very very nice.

Likes

I liked the campus environment and total campus
Faculty were good in teaching and helps us when ever required
The placements are decent every can try to get placed in a good company

Dislikes

Canteens were separate for both boys and girls
The students with low GPA are hard to get a placement
The security system is bad we can not roam in the campus

Students are eligible from 3-2 semester for campus placements.nearly 50 companies visit the campus every year and provide many offers.The Highest package is 44lpa and average is 5lpa. Around 90% students get place every year.

Likes

I liked our environment and engagement of seniors and juniors association.
The surroundings of our collage are covered with greenary and are our campus huge big indoor stadium
Our faculty has their unique teaching styles which differs from the every faculty

Dislikes

I don't like the faculty rudeness and they don't encourage us in terms of games
I don't like that our collage canteen is very small
I don't like that our collage no stationary facilities.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements from the year of 3-1 semester. We have visited a lot of companies like amazon, epam, and virtual etc. We have so many offers offered by different kinds companies. We have a highest package of 64lpa and average package of 8lpa.we got placed across 90 percentage of our students. I am ece guy so I am planning to get a software job In any type of mnc

Likes

Being exposed to new skills like learning technologies
Chilling with new friends in college was good.
Placements training was really good enough to be interview ready

Social life during college could be better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always passionate about building websites and coding. The faculty:student ratio was okayish. For every 30 students one faculty is assigned as mentor. The teaching methods are good. The term exams were always on time. The faculty's teaching methods can be more good it they make use of real time examples.

Amazing College for engineering students

Likes

Internships and industry projects which is offered every semester
Higher studies preferences both inside India & outside India
College events, we have busy calendar with more than 3- weekly events

Dislikes

Paper correction is slightly strict in our college

Placement Experience:

About 80 percent of the students were placed in our course. The highest package offered in our course is about 12 LPA, the lowest package offered in our course is about 6 LPA and the average package offered in our course is 8 LPA.

College provide good amount of placements they train students from the 2nd year itself they divide them into batches and they observe each and every student in the college. About 130 companies visited college about 100 made offers

GRIET Hyderabad has been ranked 172 in the Engineering category in NIRF by MHRD. College regularly organises FDP for the students of different departments to provide them with better knowledge. GRIET also provides consultancy to the Government and industries through R & D centres. The faculties are highly educated with good academic backgrounds.

Courses:

GRIET offers B.Tech in degree Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Civil Engineering (CE), Information Technology (IT), Mechanical Engineering (ME), computer science & Business system and CSE.
M.Tech degree is offered in design for manufacturing, power electronics, VLSI, Computer science & engineering, structural engineering and data science.

Admissions:

70% of the seats in B.Tech are allotted on merit basis while remaining seats are allotted to the management/NRI candidates.
Admission is given to any Engineering college in Andhra Pradesh through a common entrance test (EAMCET). Tuition fees for 1 year of B.Tech programme are 1.22 lakhs.
For admission in M.Tech programmes, candidates must have a B.E. or B.Tech degree with minimum 55% aggregate and a valid score of GATE or PGECET.
Total tuition fees for the M.Tech programme is 1.14 lakh.

Infrastructure:

GRIET campus comprises a huge library, laboratories, water plant, solar water plant, canteen, classrooms and sports area. Computer labs are equipped with highly advanced software.

Placements:

The previous year, a total of 834 students from all the departments got placement from the college.
More than 100 students were placed with CTC above 6 lakh.
Famous companies which recruited the students of GRIET were Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, CISCO, Byju’s and many more. Highest salary package received by the students of GRIET was 41.6 lakh.

Many events are organised at the college like Spirals, Spices, X-Kernel, Quizzicals, Rhythms, Pragnya, PULSE, etc. GRIET has organised Hackathon Competition in association with Technology & innovation cell to inculcate the values of innovations and to promote technological advances. There are also various clubs that students can take part in like Gaming Club, and Robotic club.
