Scholarship has been given by the ts government for fee reimbursement for the students as well as separate 5000 and nsp well given the 10k to merit students.
The faculty with good knowledge helps us to improve in our education
Placements are good in campus, well infrastructure and good modies nature in campus, and course are cse, ce, mech, eee, it, ds, aiml, etc

Dislikes

Dislike the faculty of core department.they fail to provide the more information about subject
We have no hostels around the college as we have to travel
The mobile signal is dead in the campus, which is quite frustrating

SEEKING FOR THE OPPORTUNITY

Likes

Playground availablity, Campus life is little bit boring
Faculties are good and more interactive .
Placement are good but we need to put more efforts

Dislikes

Canteen facility is not good in our college
Little bit uncomfortable in canteen there will be no proper maintenance of canteen but it's okay
Some faculties will not reach everyone so we need to take help from friends

Placement Experience:

The placement process is simple here in our college from 2nd year onwards placement starts and they divide into groups of product and service batches. The highest package is 40LPA and Lowest may be 5LPA. I just want to prepare for civil services.

Honest Review of GRIET

Likes

Campus placements they got amazing teaching
Collage infrastructure is also a bit okay.
Fests are rare but when happened y they are up to the mark.

Dislikes

Most of the Faculty members don't have deep knowledge about subject
Won't encourage in extra curricular activities
College is too strict . Sometimes it feels like they treat us like kids

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is almost equal to computer science. I wanted more of artificial intelligence and machine learning subjects. But still the course is good and coming to the faculty they are okay! Not that good not that bad.

Likes

The college campus - peaceful & greenary
The faculty they are cool, friendly and motivated
Hod of our course is a motivated one, she always encourages us.

Dislikes

Out side of the college is so dusty and there's a lot of garbage
The hostel fee is high so it cannot be affordable by middle class families

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year 2nd semester the students are eligible for placements. The highest package is 44l ctc. The lowest package is 4l. So many companies will visit every year. 80% of the students will get placed. Whereas the remaining 20% are planning for higher studies.

From 4th year, placements get started. Popular companies like Cisco, amazon, Microsoft, Accenture, TCS, Capgemini, etc offer job opportunities for us. Around 75% of students are placed in companies through placements. The highest package is 44 lpa and the lowest is 3 lakhs per annum.

Good for placements and has quality lecturers.

Likes

Faculty is supportive for the students and help the students to grow as a professional.
Placements are good compared to other colleges. They provide training for the placements to crack greater packages.
Rules and Regulation of the college are good which are neither too strict nor too loose.

Dislikes

They don't provide time in the time table for spending time on sports.
Canteen food costs slightly higher than the retail price
Need to pay extra fee for placement training

Placement Experience:

On 4th year ie on from 7th semester students are eligible for the placements. Some of the recruiting companies are TCS, Cap Gemini, Accenture, Amazon, Drawinbox. Highest package is 44.2 lakhs per annum and minimum is 3.5 lakhs per annum. 75% get placed in the placements. I want to get a join in my placement drive and work for the company.

Academics in the college and how the faculty encourages the student
Weather in the college peaceful and refresh which requires much to the students
Maintenance of the college keeping neat and clean

Dislikes

Discrimination og the gender among the the student's
Dress code for both the boys and girls we are not allowed to jeans and T-shirt

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is similar to other colleges. We have 2 semesters in one year and in one semester we have two mid-term exams. Which makes it easy for the semester. In the first mid we can cover half of the syallabus and in the next mid-term we can cover other half of the syallabus. Faculty members as good subject knowledge.

yeah they are having placements students are eligible for campus placements 3rd year ending highest package is 10lpa and least 3lpa 80% of students are mostly posted doing job after one year doing higer studies.

College has some rules that girls should not wear jeans
This is co education but discipline committee won't allow a girl and boy walk freely

I have joined this course because I got a seat in this College with eamcet rank Compared to other college faculties my college faculties are more better and more advanced. They have completed their mtech pg and some other courses. Faculty completed their education at IITs and some other qualified colleges. It is easy to pass in exams but every candidate must look over the classes which they have learnt every day

Likes

Library is packed with books ,they help at the time of exams
The campus is eco-friendly,and filled with greenery
The infrastructure in laboratories is good.

Dislikes

The rules are so strict,you cannot use mobile in campus
There is a seperate canteen for boys and girls

GRIET Hyderabad has been ranked 172 in the Engineering category in NIRF by MHRD. College regularly organises FDP for the students of different departments to provide them with better knowledge. GRIET also provides consultancy to the Government and industries through R & D centres. The faculties are highly educated with good academic backgrounds.

Courses:

GRIET offers B.Tech in degree Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Civil Engineering (CE), Information Technology (IT), Mechanical Engineering (ME), computer science & Business system and CSE.
M.Tech degree is offered in design for manufacturing, power electronics, VLSI, Computer science & engineering, structural engineering and data science.

Admissions:

70% of the seats in B.Tech are allotted on merit basis while remaining seats are allotted to the management/NRI candidates.
Admission is given to any Engineering college in Andhra Pradesh through a common entrance test (EAMCET). Tuition fees for 1 year of B.Tech programme are 1.22 lakhs.
For admission in M.Tech programmes, candidates must have a B.E. or B.Tech degree with minimum 55% aggregate and a valid score of GATE or PGECET.
Total tuition fees for the M.Tech programme is 1.14 lakh.

Infrastructure:

GRIET campus comprises a huge library, laboratories, water plant, solar water plant, canteen, classrooms and sports area. Computer labs are equipped with highly advanced software.

Placements:

The previous year, a total of 834 students from all the departments got placement from the college.
More than 100 students were placed with CTC above 6 lakh.
Famous companies which recruited the students of GRIET were Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, CISCO, Byju’s and many more. Highest salary package received by the students of GRIET was 41.6 lakh.

Many events are organised at the college like Spirals, Spices, X-Kernel, Quizzicals, Rhythms, Pragnya, PULSE, etc. GRIET has organised Hackathon Competition in association with Technology & innovation cell to inculcate the values of innovations and to promote technological advances. There are also various clubs that students can take part in like Gaming Club, and Robotic club.
