Scholarship has been given by the ts government for fee reimbursement for the students as well as separate 5000 and nsp well given the 10k to merit students.
The faculty with good knowledge helps us to improve in our education
Placements are good in campus, well infrastructure and good modies nature in campus, and course are cse, ce, mech, eee, it, ds, aiml, etc

Dislikes

Dislike the faculty of core department.they fail to provide the more information about subject
We have no hostels around the college as we have to travel
The mobile signal is dead in the campus, which is quite frustrating

The GRIET

The maintenance in the college is maintained properly
The placements are very approachable and everyone are allowed to participate in it
The faculty in the college are very much flexible

Dislikes

The canteen food is not at all fresh.
The students are not allowed to use mobiles even in the canteen
The washrooms in few blocks are not maintained properly

The GRIET is meant for giving placements to each and every student in the college. The placements are very approachable and every student is applying to participate in them. The average package starts from 3-4 lakhs and ends with 15lakhs

Intresting and a good place to learn new things

Likes

Good labs , practical experience is excellent
Good library system, Books are separated as per the course.
Canteen is good and transportation is also provided for students.

Dislikes

Non technical events or fests are less compared to other colleges.
More security not a bad thing but security is found at every end of the college

Placement Experience:

Placements are so good in our campus. faculty trains each and every student to persue the job and get placed in a good mnc. As I'm still studying faculty will be supportive and helpful in our projects. Not only CSE students but branchs like EEE,civil,mech, are given equal opportunities.

GRIET top college of hyderabad

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is very good.
the facilities and labratories will be good.
the placements will be good with good packages.

Dislikes

the dislike is there will be gender bias.
there will be no events held in our college.
cellphones are prohibited in the campus .

Placement Experience:

Our college is known for its placements. Every year above 90% of the students get placed with good packages. Students were also given training for placements and were offered good companies and good packages.

Environment is too good in the college compare with other colleges
here the faculty is very interact with the students

Dislikes

Phones are in the college premises and there are strict rules of using phone in the college
There will be dress code and women are not allowed to wear jeans
cultural events and traditional days like this types of events will not be conducted

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in this course and my parents also suggested and I went to this course. There is a lot of competition in computer science and I thought it better to take electronics which is very much useful in day-to-day life. I think so 1:3 or 1:2 not exactly approx faculty and student ratio. GRIET faculty is one of the most highly qualified and experienced who had did masters and PhD in their fields. There are 2 terms. It is somewhat diffcult to pass

Griet is a good college you can join and get good education.

Likes

Things I liked was faculty being encouraging.
Having good number of placements every year.
Sports and extracurricular activities to participate.

Dislikes

Very strict action when we use phone on college.

Placement Experience:

We have a good number of placements every year, from 3rd to 4th year and even after passing out we get some placements, the highest package of mechanical is 9lpa, the percentage of students getting placement is 7 above with no active backlogs, and my plan after getting a degree is to get a good job and be secure.

Gokaraju Rangaraju - The best place to gain knowledge

Likes

Experienced lectures and good lab equipment.
Infrastructure and cleanliness in the college.
High security and discipline in the students.

Dislikes

Phones are not allowed to use in the college premises
No bike parking area for 1st year students

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are considered to be better when compared with another tier 2 or tier 3 colleges. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Oracle and Darwin Box were the top recruiters in the IT sector with a 10+ lakhs package. TCS, Capgemini, and Cognizant were a few of the companies that offered between 3.5 and 7 lakhs. More than 75% of students got placed in different companies. I am planning to do a job in the IT sector at TCS.

Placements are very good placement office maintain a database for students and they are mainly concentrate on students who are not selected in placements
Freedom for students , faculties support if students really want to to explore his/her ideas
Maintainance of college is preety good and if students wants any certificates the admission block so supportive

Regarding fee the administration is very strict while collecting college fee
Strict in attendence the faculties knows maximum of the students interested in IT field irrespective of there branch if they are not strict about attendrmce students learn programming languages in the college life itself a
The faculties explain topics on projectors it is diificult to understand mathematical topics on projectors

Placement Experience:

--->from 3-2 semester students eligible for placements ---->the companies are TCS, LTI, COGNIGENT, CAPGEMINI, TTECH, SADDLEPOIMT, LTTS, and ACCENTURE, these all are the major IT companies that hire students in bulk quantities but their 50 companies that hire in single digit ---->average package if 5lpa minimum package is 4lpas maximum package is 25lpa ---->99%students definitely selected in placements the remaining 1% is becy of lack of interest in placements ----->my plan after my degree is to settle as a developer in a reputed company

Knowledge is power, learn in the right place.

Placements are very good, college infrastructure and facilitate very good
Lecturers are very supportive and we also have a big library with monitors for the students.

Dislikes

College canteen good could be better and more events should be conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love computer science and always wanted to be a software engineer. There are a good number of well-qualified faculty who are accessible to the students whenever needed. most of the faculties are Mtech qualified and many of the faculties are doing the PhD course while working. There will be 2 mid-exams conducted every 2 months before the semester exams which happen every 6 months.

GRIET Hyderabad has been ranked 172 in the Engineering category in NIRF by MHRD. College regularly organises FDP for the students of different departments to provide them with better knowledge. GRIET also provides consultancy to the Government and industries through R & D centres. The faculties are highly educated with good academic backgrounds.

Courses:

GRIET offers B.Tech in degree Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Civil Engineering (CE), Information Technology (IT), Mechanical Engineering (ME), computer science & Business system and CSE.
M.Tech degree is offered in design for manufacturing, power electronics, VLSI, Computer science & engineering, structural engineering and data science.

Admissions:

70% of the seats in B.Tech are allotted on merit basis while remaining seats are allotted to the management/NRI candidates.
Admission is given to any Engineering college in Andhra Pradesh through a common entrance test (EAMCET). Tuition fees for 1 year of B.Tech programme are 1.22 lakhs.
For admission in M.Tech programmes, candidates must have a B.E. or B.Tech degree with minimum 55% aggregate and a valid score of GATE or PGECET.
Total tuition fees for the M.Tech programme is 1.14 lakh.

Infrastructure:

GRIET campus comprises a huge library, laboratories, water plant, solar water plant, canteen, classrooms and sports area. Computer labs are equipped with highly advanced software.

Placements:

The previous year, a total of 834 students from all the departments got placement from the college.
More than 100 students were placed with CTC above 6 lakh.
Famous companies which recruited the students of GRIET were Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, CISCO, Byju’s and many more. Highest salary package received by the students of GRIET was 41.6 lakh.

Many events are organised at the college like Spirals, Spices, X-Kernel, Quizzicals, Rhythms, Pragnya, PULSE, etc. GRIET has organised Hackathon Competition in association with Technology & innovation cell to inculcate the values of innovations and to promote technological advances. There are also various clubs that students can take part in like Gaming Club, and Robotic club.
