Scholarship has been given by the ts government for fee reimbursement for the students as well as separate 5000 and nsp well given the 10k to merit students.
The faculty with good knowledge helps us to improve in our education
Placements are good in campus, well infrastructure and good modies nature in campus, and course are cse, ce, mech, eee, it, ds, aiml, etc

Dislikes

Dislike the faculty of core department.they fail to provide the more information about subject
We have no hostels around the college as we have to travel
The mobile signal is dead in the campus, which is quite frustrating

Life at GRIET.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are considerably good. Almost at the end of the academic year, Evey student is placed with a decent package. The highest package is 42LPA and the lowest package is 3.5LPA. more than 40 companies visit the campus for hiring.

ONE OF THE BEST ENGINEERING COLLEGES IN THE HYDERABAD

Placement Experience:

The students can get the various placement opportunities after completing their btech in our college.In our college most of the students can get internship offers with decent stipends.The minimum percentage of getting placements is 75%.The major companies which visits our college are TCS, AMAZON ,FLIPKART ,IBM, SERVICE NOW etc.The highest package in our college is 42 lakh per annum which is grabbed by Rohan from CSE branch in year 2021.My plans after btech is either starting a startup or getting ready for higher studies.

From the sixth semister student is eligible for placements.many multinational companies and companies come to our campus for placements in which many students get placed with a good package.The highest package will be offered to cse students.An average student will get a package of above 5lakhs.After getting a degree I will plan for higher education.

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester i.e, 4th year 1st semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Many MNCs such as Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, INFOSYS,.... Etc, are tied up with GRIET. Most of the students in CSE are placed with good salary packages. The placement percentage is 98% in CSE. the highest package in 2021 is 44 LPA from CSE. And the average salary package is between 5 LPA TO 6 LPA. If you are looking at packages and placement percentage of the college to take admission then you are thinking wrong, change your perception. Colleges will only provide the map to success it's your duty to reach the correct destination.

My journey through GRIET

Placement Experience:

Actually, i was not interested in doing BTech.I am eagerly waiting for by graduation to be completed.i only wanted a BTech certificate.I am having my own plans after my graduation.i don't like being confessed in a room and doing IT JOBS. Companies like Amazon (sde) , cognizant CAPGEMINI, byjus, Microsoft, and tata consultancy services (TCS). Many other companies like Bosch it related companies regularly visits our college during campus placement drives and recruitment is done in a very large amount.like tcs almost recruit 240 students every year for different positions in their companies. In 2020 one of our alumni got placed in Microsoft with a whopping package of 41.6 lakhs package .2021 out seniors got placed with 33 lakhs package.4 students got placed for 24 lakhs package.

Placement Experience:

The placement record is very good in our college,in 4rth year we are eligible for the campus placement with a good package,almost 80% students are placed every year , we must have CGPA above 7.5 for to get an eligibility for campus placements

GRIET Hyderabad has been ranked 172 in the Engineering category in NIRF by MHRD. College regularly organises FDP for the students of different departments to provide them with better knowledge. GRIET also provides consultancy to the Government and industries through R & D centres. The faculties are highly educated with good academic backgrounds.

Courses:

GRIET offers B.Tech in degree Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Civil Engineering (CE), Information Technology (IT), Mechanical Engineering (ME), computer science & Business system and CSE.
M.Tech degree is offered in design for manufacturing, power electronics, VLSI, Computer science & engineering, structural engineering and data science.

Admissions:

70% of the seats in B.Tech are allotted on merit basis while remaining seats are allotted to the management/NRI candidates.
Admission is given to any Engineering college in Andhra Pradesh through a common entrance test (EAMCET). Tuition fees for 1 year of B.Tech programme are 1.22 lakhs.
For admission in M.Tech programmes, candidates must have a B.E. or B.Tech degree with minimum 55% aggregate and a valid score of GATE or PGECET.
Total tuition fees for the M.Tech programme is 1.14 lakh.

Infrastructure:

GRIET campus comprises a huge library, laboratories, water plant, solar water plant, canteen, classrooms and sports area. Computer labs are equipped with highly advanced software.

Placements:

The previous year, a total of 834 students from all the departments got placement from the college.
More than 100 students were placed with CTC above 6 lakh.
Famous companies which recruited the students of GRIET were Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, CISCO, Byju’s and many more. Highest salary package received by the students of GRIET was 41.6 lakh.

Many events are organised at the college like Spirals, Spices, X-Kernel, Quizzicals, Rhythms, Pragnya, PULSE, etc. GRIET has organised Hackathon Competition in association with Technology & innovation cell to inculcate the values of innovations and to promote technological advances. There are also various clubs that students can take part in like Gaming Club, and Robotic club.
