Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college

Dislikes

The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

If you see the previous year's record (2022) then there is almost 100% in IT branches with an average of 5 LPA so you can say that this college is good for placement. Companies like TCS, CAPGEMINI, IBM, INFOSYS, COGNIZANT, ACCENTURE, and many more come to college to recruit freshers. And the highest package was 23 LPA and the average is around 5 LPA. When will u reach your 6th sem than companies start to come and u will get to chance to get those companies

I get a decent rank to get this rank. Our college faculty is very supportive and motivate us. Of 10 students there is one faculty member who guides us. Few faculty members are well qualified and their teaching skills are very good. Exams were held on time.

After six semesters there are lots of companies coming to our college. Students who have a backlog are not eligible for campus placement. Cognizant, Capgemini, Accenture, PWC, and many more. 10+lpa is the Highest package on our college campus. 80% of students get placed in our college. After graduation, I will explore the IT sector.

I was very curious about electronics since childhood so I opted for b tech in ece , The faculties are very knowledgeable in this college most of them have done a Ph.D., and in the scene examination, they took it very seriously our examination is held every month internally exam and externally also.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario is very good in this college and TPO is very helpful and supportive. TPO ensures that each and every student get placed and no one is left unplaced. Approx. 200 companies visit our campus. The average package offered is 5 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose electronics and communication engineering because I have an interest in semiconductor devices and also an interest in theory part. The faculty in our is very helpful and some of our factories are very good knowledge in core subjects. Some of the faculty members hold a Ph.D. degree. Exams were held on time and it was not that difficult to pass the exam. If you prepare 1 month before the semester then you will pass the semester.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Accenture PwC Infosys Capgemini Cognizant JSW and many more companies visit our college for placement purposes. The highest package is 9.5lpa which is provided On campus. And off-campus you can get many more. Last year 88% of students were placed in our college. My Plan is simple. In the campus placement process After getting placement to accept the Offer letter and Start working.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen electronics and communication as a course since I am interested in electronics so I have chosen the course, faculty is not that good in the college, except for a few faculty. Faculty are well qualified but they have old teaching methods and exams are not on time. they always postpone the exam and there are no sem breaks and students bunk the class.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in this particular domain. The faculty-student ratio is good u'll find 1 teacher for every 10 students. Qualification of the faculties is satisfied and the teaching method is good. The college conducts sem exams 2 times a year and in one semester there are 2-3 Class tests as well. Passing is not that hard if you have prepared well.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC

Courses:

The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.

Placements:

As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.

Fest:
