Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college

Dislikes

The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

Reviews for new student to get better college

Placement Experience:

Placement of our college is average. Many MNC companies visited like wipro,Tcs , capegmini, Accenture, Genpact, Mindtree, etc and other companies like hcl , CTS ,haldia petrochemical etc. Highest package is 45 lakh which is offered by Amazon. Almost 95 percent of student get placed during completion of 4 th year. My plans is to take job in good MNC company.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good at the Haldia Institute of technology. The average package of 4-5 lakh. All companies like Accenture, tata, Capgemini etc Come to the campus for placement. The branch-like CSE, it and ECE student get more preference over another branch student. If you are good at studies you get easily placement.

Best college in west bengal

Course Curriculum Overview:

Computer science is the most popular branch of B.tech because of its industry and you get a job easily from this branch. In my college overall percentage of placement is quite good compared to other colleges. The average package is about 5 to 6 . the faculties are also well experienced and knowledgeable and also supportive.

From the 6th semester itself companies start to visit campus and the training and placement cell is quite very active and is improving year by year as can be seen in the placement. In the covid period placement of the college remain very good.

College campus is best.

Placement Experience:

Placements are superb, we never expect that much of amount of package in this college As year yearly the placements are increasing. About 85% of students got placed in this academic year And each student maintained at least 2 offers before the completion of their studies. The average package is 3.5-4LPA Value-for-money Damn sure our college is value for money. about 1 lakh per year and our money got worth.

Placement Experience:

Although from the last year that is second year, one is eligible to sit for the placements, but placements are yoo bad for MTech students. Highest package as per my view, was 400000. To be very honest, college put almost no efforts to get the students placed. My plan is to pursue PhD further.

Placements are a major concern here. Frankly speaking, college doesn't put effort into calling companies. The overall placement rate is ok at about 45%. Core companies are very less, and most of the companies are in the IT field.

Placement is very average. Specifically for Mechanical Engineering, it is very poor. At my time, the highest package was a 5.5 LPA in Mechanical Engineering. With an average package of 3LPA. However, for the CS branch, placement is not an issue.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC

Courses:

The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.

Placements:

As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.

Fest:

The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
