Students can get scholarships like swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship.
Companies like tcs, wipro, info, tejas network, grant thomson, pwc india, ibm, etc, and the placement percentage is also so good approx 90 percent of students get placed.
The campus is so beautiful and peaceful . the natural environment is there so i liked it

Dislikes

Fees is little bit high so it is a problem for a middle class guy
From the last 3 year's there is no fest organized due to students fight
There are no boys hostel inside campus which is not good

HITK a hidden gem

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester onwards students are provided the option to sit for placement. Top companies like TCS, WIPRO, Infosys, Infotech, Godrej, IBM, Capgemini, Nestle, Amazon take students from the institute. The highest package provided is 15lpa and the lowest is 2.8 LPA. 90% of the students are placed. My plan after getting a degree is persuing for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester exams, students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, Wipro, cognizant, IBM, ITC Infotech, persistent system, IBM, Microsoft, Amazon. Microsoft highest package was 16 lacs. The Institute signed an MOU with the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), NJ, USA for a student exchange programme under which the first batch of 20 students had a 6-week training programme at NJIT during 2008 and the second batch of students are also undergoing training programme at present. Almost 80% of students get placement every year.

One of the top private engineering colleges in kolkata

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite good. Companies like Tata Consultancies, etc come for on-campus Companies like TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, DXC Technology provides a satisfactory package here. Average package is around 3-4 LPA. There are many internship opportunities. Almost 80% of students get placed in each year after completing the 4-year BTech course. After getting my degree I would like to do higher studies to get into research-oriented fields.

Heritage, Home to all.

Remarks:

Heritage provides one of the best campus in kolkata. The football, cricket, tennis, basket ball etc grounds are perhaps one of the best. Lab facilities are good. If you are looking to get a decent job in an IT company, Heritage is perhaps one of the best university. Professors are very much welcoming and will assist you to get a decent job and will teach with all their might. I got admitted in the month of July, 2016. Our class started from August 1, 2016.The library (present underground) provides lot of books in varities of categories. If you have a taste other than technical stuffs, like in literature, you can visit the library which remains active from 10 am top 7 pm.Reason for choosing heritage over other university is that it provides a perfect balance between lab, interactive discussion, studies and with extra curricular activities. You will definitely get a job in the final year or before if you work hard and do justice to your course from campus. I also got one from Merchant Navy. Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students can sit on placements. Mass recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra comes and take away most of the students with a package of 3.2 to 4 lakh. In my branch, 75 to 80 percent of students get placed every year. Well, I want to join an IT company because I figure out that my interest is more towards software engineering.

Remarks:

It is a good place to be if you could not make it to the premium institutes of the country, it gives you all the same facilities and brilliant social exposure, nice lifestyle and various opportunities to grow and showcase both your academic and non-academic talents, inspiring and motivating teachers to guide you. Large and beautiful campus with all sports facilities, big library, smart classes. All you need to do is study hard stay motivated throughout your engineering journey, and you will achieve everything studying from here only.

Location from my home was very near and this is a very important factor because it saved my daily travelling time. Second factor could be that my college has a good ranking in its city. Probably in top 5 engineering college.

Heritage - honest opinion

Remarks:

Best choice available for me in my rank group for wbjee. This college also provides a decent placement and the fees Is also low. This college also offers good freedom to students in terms of attendance and supports every student to get placement.

Remarks:

Pros-The faculty is good, they are keen on helping you out. The minimum attendance is 60% only which is quite good as you can stay at home and study. Cons- I have spent 4 years in this college and we never had a proper fest. Every year there's problem between the lobbies.

Heritage Institute of Technology is the best private college in Kolkata with good campus life. A senior of mine is an alumnus of the college and he always speaks about its infrastructure, placements, and campus facilities.

Location: - It is located near the prime market of Kolkata making it well connected to communication services.
Fees: - The fess has been increased slightly but if admission is granted you’re are eligible to apply for a study loan
Labs: - All the facilities and the technologies in the lab are up to date and well equipped for ease of handling by the students.
Professors: - all the professors are highly experienced, some with a Ph.D. degree, and they are well known and acknowledged in society.
Library: - Fully stacked with books, articles, research papers and has access to many foreign libraries accessing outside files.

The campus has a huge ground and it also has a large pond. It has a very well-maintained infrastructure. They also provide students with all the necessary facilities. The canteen serves very well but it is really expensive. But overall it is manageable for students.
